Hey Manny. Great video! Yes Forest Hill is a hidden gem I'm Newark. I live in South Newark in Weequahic; also a hidden gem. Both neighborhoods have mansions and large two family homes. I love living in Newark and it's sad that the few who commit violent crimes get the attention; not the hard working people struggling to build a better life. God Bless you! Keep up the great work👍🙏❤
I drove by that area in South Newark, indeed another hidden gem, I love Newark, this city has so much potential and is coming strong.
Forrest Hills is a totally different world, very nice.
Thank you for showing one of the beautiful sides of Newark. All I ever see are the bad places on CZcams. Weequahic, Ivy Hill, Clinton Hill, Downtown, Society Hills all have beautiful houses. Weequahic Park has a beautiful golf course, Branchbrook Part is beautiful as well.
I loved living here. 2 blocks away from the park, quiet, nice houses, events, movie sets, it was amazing!
Forest Hills section of Newark has the best looking homes in Newark
I agree

Manny thanks for the visit to Forest Hill which reminds me of nearby Montclair where I lived for 30 years.
Very nice neighborhood.
Iron bound is nice also
Please do this tour in the summer. Great video. Thanks
Waiting po sending support her
Very nice area!
Indeed a lovely area.
Looks nice and quiet
No visit to Forrest hill in Newark is worthy without paying a visit to the BALLENTINE GATES, the main entrance to Branch Brook Park...And if the BALLENTINE name is familiar----you are right because the name belongs to the BALLENTINE BEER BARON, the brewery founder who owned a mansion at these gates.---the entrance is through Mt. Prospect avenue...!
High class old style
Some really lovely homes 🏠
Indeed, a really nice neighborhood.
Your place is quiet rn host nice environment
I wonder if that neighborhood decorates in lights for Christmas? It would be just magical.
They use to, I remember years ago going for long walks after dinner in the winter with my girlfriend just to see the houses light up for the holidays it was really beautiful now and days you would be lucky if you saw two houses on the same block also a lot of ghetto peoples have bought or rented in the area.
Yes, a number of the homes are decorated during the Christmas holiday. Halloween is another holiday where there is "friendly" competition. I have been here almost six years and love it. Contrary to what one of the people posted... alot of ghetto "peoples" have not bought or rented in the area. We have all types of folks from a NJ Senator and attorneys to City workers and business owners.
Back in the day a lot of council members or political figures along with the "underworld" folks, owned these homes in North Newark. The other hidden gym is the Weequahic section closest to Hillside border by the park. Was mostly occupied by a large affluential Jewish community back in the days along with drs lawyers and white collar city workers, musicians etc. I grew up there back in the early 70's on Elizabeth Ave near the synagogue.
Went to Essex Catholic High ,great neighborhood
Indeed really good neighborhood
I grew up there also . And I never heard a jet being that low . In the Iron bound yes but not in the North Ward !!!¡
Waw
👍👋👋🙏👍
Wait a sec, NYC has Forest Hills, but Newark has Forrest Hill? Also Manny, hope you're feeling better
Thats right, Newark has a Forrest Hill section too that not too many people know, so I went there to explore. Feeling much better.
yes-----most names are duplicated around the country----Forest Hills Queens and Forrest hill Newark, N.J. are synonymous with wealth.!
Thank you for showing where I grew up at ,you see people only show the very bad part of Newark !
Thanks for watching, there's much more nice areas in Newark than the bad ones.
@@MannyExploresVlog exactly great video

Hello 👋🏿
Weequahic and Bergen
A hidden gem 💎
Indeed it is.
Love this area too bad I can't afford it. 🤔
Hi manny is west New Jersey a good place to relocate from the usvi
This the part of Newark thats doesn’t get any publicity at all. Houses worth 700 and 800 thousand dollars. A lot of Mini mansions over there also!
4:11-4:15 - I would hate to be the one who has to clean those windows (well, actually most of those houses).
Hahah, someone got to do it
Jus don't go tha opposite way or u heading 4 a BIIIIIIIG problem
Been to those areas already since I used to live nearby
Do you need a car to live there?
There is public transportation, but much better if you have a car to live there.
