South East 999 Videos u know that when ambulances transport a patient they turn into code 2 if non-serious like vomiting but transport code 3 if serious like someone has a stab wound
K Chess we're not in America. Paramedics (and/or other crew) make a clinical decision on whether to transport on blue lights here in the UK. They respond to the majority of calls under emergency conditions (category 1, 2 and 3 calls)

Beautiful looking machine, and ticks all the right boxes for the job.
We're still using a combination of Honda CRv and Skoda Octavia TDi estates, which are more than capable, but rolling around in one of the VWs would certainly improve ones street cred 😂
Ocavias are nice to drive than the tiguan, more room for driver and skoda handles better

I still maintain that first aid should be part of a child's school curriculum at a sensible age of course.Of course some children will and they do dial 999 if they sense a medical emergency especially at home but out and about in the community this is uncharted territory for a large majority however with the correct training ( their local ambulance service) makes it even more likely they'll take onboard what the instructor is teaching them and emphasis the importance of the 999 call and quite possibly teach them how to put a patient in the recovery position and the most life saving treatment of all CPR and ...and it's a BIG AND the location of a defibrillator and how to use one if it's achievable but CPR is PARAMOUNT until emergency services arrive and it's not always PARAMEDICS!!!!.... what about the POLICE, THE FIRE SERVICE or MRS JONES the receptionist from a local GP SURGERY!!!!!,never ever underestimate who may turn up at the critical time to save a patient's life....you'll be just grateful that they do!!!,one last note medical emergencies happen 24/7 in 10m or less ( even better) the sooner the medical intervention begins the more chance the patient has not only to survive but quite possibly Eliminate life changing disabilities!!!!! only you at that crucial window of opportunity can make an incredible outcome happen ....who knows it could be a member of your own family or a friend or a total stranger in the community!!!!!... SHOULD THE WORST HAPPEN AND YOUR ON YOUR OWN ITS ASTONISHING HOW YOU GO INTO 999 MODE and afterwards well that's largely down to you and your immediate medical response!!!! but don't forget even the best medical staff can't save everyone but that's not being NEGATIVE it's sadly real everyday life but you'll know instinctively YOU did and gave everything you were trained to do...( it's not always a sunny day) but being a hero can and does happen to the most unlikely person you can imagine....there's no reason why it can't be YOU!!!!!
