Here's a real challenge for you that isn't a silly trick: Start with four glasses all face down. What is the shortest amount of turns it will take you to get all four glasses face up by flipping over three glasses at a time?
That's very easy, actually. You start with all four in the same position 🙃🙃🙃🙃 So it makes no difference which three you flip over first, since they're interchangeable. 🙃🙃🙃🙃 🔃🔃🔃⬇️ 🙂🙂🙂🙃 Next there are effectively only two options: you could flip the same three back, which is obviously wrong, since it's giving away two moves for nothing; so the only option is to flip the fourth one and two of those from the first move - it doesn't make a difference, which two of those three you flip, because those three are still interchangeable. 🙂🙂🙂🙃 ⬇️🔃🔃🔃 🙂🙃🙃🙂 Now we have two of each orientation. Here, again, there are effectively only two distinct moves possible: we could flip over two that are face down and one that is face up - but that's just reversing the previous move, so it's obviously wrong. Or we can flip over one that is face down and two that are face up. Which of the two that are face down we leave untouched doesn't make a difference. They are interchangeable. 🙂🙃🙃🙂 🔃⬇️🔃🔃 🙃🙃🙂🙃 Now three are face down, and we obviously can't do better that flip those three over. But also, the only possible other move would be to flip over the one that's face up and two of those that are face down. And it makes no difference which two we would pick out of those three. Doing that would just revert to the previous configuration, which always means that you've made at least two moves more that the minimum. 🙃🙃🙂🙃 🔃🔃⬇️🔃 🙂🙂🙂🙂 So there is no point at which you would have to branch out into multiple cases. If you just keep in mind that all those that are in the same orientation are interchangeable, then there's at every point only one possible move that doesn't revert to the previous configuration. You can solve this without planning ahead and without having to figure out some unintuitive trick.

He started it differently when he did it😂
Nice play! He doesnt realize u can only succed if the middle glass starts bottom up 😅
You need an odd number glasses up, so 1 or 3 to start.
Good old parity (of the number of glasses in upward position). It never changes in any move. It doesn't even matter if you flip three or four or a million times (as long as you keep flipping the glasses in pairs).
The guy in the blue hoodie flipping the cups the opposite, then the other guy
Years ago I did this for like a month straight in high school pissed soooo many people off 😂
I just saw this and decided to try it on my siblings they were so confused😂😂😂
I had to loop this video 5 times to know whats happening
Only 5??? I’ve watched 30 times.
@@TristanWinsRenad skill issue
No need to loop the video. Just pause the video so it won't distract you and take your time to think about it. You can figure it out in like a minute.
kleiny is so cute asf 🤣❤️❤️
He starts ↓↑↓ when he does it, but ↑↓↑ when his friend does it.
