And the first thing you need to do to get Pinterest traffic is
Make Sure that Users CAN Save Something from Your Website
When you look into your Pinterest analytics, you want to see a ton of Other Pins.
See I have mostly Other pins in my top 10 pins, and my account gets 10+ Million monthly viewers on Pinterest.
What does this Others even mean? It means that YOUR account did not create those pins but they are still pins linked to your website. So these are other people saving images from YOUR site.
You probably don't realize HOW important those OTHER pins are because well maybe you have never even seen them in your stats. Maybe your account is new or you never had any popular Other pins.
But I am fortunate because I have seen the analytics not only on my own Pinterest accounts but also of dozens or maybe hundreds Pinterest accounts of my 1:1 clients by now.
And you know what I noticed? All the accounts that do really GREAT on Pinterest that I've seen, always have a ton of pins marked as Others! And usually, very few pins marked as their own pins, ever popup in at the top of their Pinterest stats.
Here's how these Others pins appear in your Pinterest analytics.
Say, someone found your pin on Pinterest, they clicked on it to visit your website.
On the site, they thought your page was so great that they decided to save it to a board on THEIR Pinterest account. They can use a button like this for social sharing on your site and save an image as a pin linked to your page. But that happen only IF any image is available on your page for saving.
If you open any pin that's marked as Others, Pinterest doesn't show you right away to which particular board this pin was saved but you can track it if you open detailed analytics on that pin, then you will click here and can see all the boards to which other users saved this pin.
So 3 things can go wrong with Other pins, and can limit the amount of traffic you will get from Pinterest.

Tailwind scheduler is the only tool I know of that you can use to schedule other people's pins.

This is such good advice! Thanks so much for sharing! Many Pinterest guides online say to pin first to your blog brand board so is that no longer necessary or does that still count was a relevant board? If so do you pin there first or after the "keyword" board
Hi! It depends on each account. If you cover a narrow niche and all your pins can leave on one branded board without making it too broad, you can save to it the pins (after saving to the most relevant keyworded board first). But if you start saving to the same branded board things like recipes and home decor and everything in between, it will make the board too broad and generic and eventually useless in terms of SEO.

In this video you mention that you can see which boards the pin was saved to but (at the moment of me trying to see this on my Pinterest account) I can't find the detailed analytics of the pins that weren't created by me. Is it part of the new update or am I doing something wrong?
You can't see detailed analytics for pins that were NOT created by you. But you can see the stats on REpins made manually on Pinterest platform by other users who saved your pins to their boards.
You can see to which boards your pins were repinned to and you will find the list of those boards if you click on See more stats in one of your popular pins, at the bottom of the stats page you'll see the boards it was saved to). Keep in mind that for all repins made by users to their boards, those pins have the same exact stats on them as your original pin because Pinterest shows on your original pin the accumulated stats from all those repins.

It would be against Pinterest's terms of service. Personal accounts are not supposed to be used for anything that makes you money. But what's the point of keeping it as a personal account though? A business account is totally free, you can convert personal account to business with 2 clicks and then you get detailed analytics on your pins and don't have to worry about terms of service.

Hi, Sara! To use it 100% legally and not worry about anything, you just need to use Embedded code from Pinterest instead of uploading the image to your website. That way, you don't have to even search for the original source of the image, it's Pinterest's responsibility then as the image is not uploaded on your site, you are just sharing a pin that is on Pinterest as an embedded code.

That depends on so many factors! If you pick one of the best niches fro Pinterest (fashion, beauty, home decor, food, general lifestyle) and you make pins that get a lot of saves and clicks, then you can get that within the first year.

I intend to get into a website tools niche (which includes wix, duda and maybe others and I intend to create a blog too) on Pinterest and make money from commissions from paid subscription to those tools. I used AI to verify if it would be possible to create these types of pins and if linking to a specific landing page from the pin descriptions would be a good strategy and even though when starting out, I would likely have a low conversion rate and a low number of pin views, the strategy and linking to those landing pages based on the AI would be possible and a good strategy. I would like to get your opinion on if this general idea or strategy would work and can you let me know also if it would be possible after 2-5 months to get 300-500 views per pin with 50-70 pins by creating 100 pins per month?

80,000 outbound traffic. Gee, I am getting 62 LOL. I can't even put pins on my blog article because they come out a blurry mess even though they are high resolution pins. But if I save the same pin as a jpg and have it on my site, it is crystal clear, but of course, it doesn't have the save to pinterest graphic.

5 pins per day is more than fine. If they are all different images linked to different pages that is totally fine. Up to 20 pins per day is fine. Occasionally more than 20 also fine. Repetitive pinning can get you in trouble though.

Why would you disable analytics on your pins? These numbers are only visible to you as the account owner anyway.
I think they just want to disable analytics from counting clicks from their own account to show more accuracy.
