In this video, i like it best when he does not forget to say: Grammar is still needed for writing. Some people may mistake that language learners do not ever have to study grammar, remember, only useful for SPEAKING, not writing or reading. When u come to a higher level of English, which requires you to read or write correctly, grammar is important.

Why does my country (Vietnam) English education system study your own language only focusing on grammar? Why English education system in my country is fucking so serious on grammar. OMG He's so true ! I studied grammar rules for more than 10 years now and he's right! Every time I talk to someone I have to analyze every single words I want to say ! checking if they're correct or not and it often confuses me ! I have the chance of being an easy learner and I'm often told that my English but what people don't see is that my brain goes crazy after an hour of conversation, it's literally overheating like a bloody computer! ahah and when it comes to the prononciation, well, grammar doesn't teach you that so I thign studying a natural English a natural way is better. Thanks A.J I'm going to watch all your videos and practice your tips because they seem much more into the real than studying grammar forever.
Gotta agree here..when I tried to study grammar back then, I felt so much pressure when doing the grammar exercises as I tried my hard to remember every rules..but when I read/hear a lot of English materials (still do now) and I try to do the exercises, the answers just come naturally/spontaneously and they are correct!...but still without learning grammar rules, I wouldn't have known how to use (even) tenses; present/past/progressive etc or auxiliary verbs etc correctly..
