Sounds awesome! A way you can make boosts feel boostier is to increase the gain sensitivity, and then increasing the profile’s definition control before finalizing it. Even though it doesn’t exactly make the profile itself more boost friendly, it does give the effect of having a real boost on it if your boosted profiles have higher gain sensitivity and definition.

Yeah, that's a great sounding profile! I had a Kemper years ago and tried it with FRFR speakers, then tried it with a power amp into a 4x12. It just didn't feel right. Your profile sounds way better than anything I was ever able to download. My biggest issue with the Kemper was feeling like I was spending more time tweaking and less time playing.

Ive been watching your channel for a fair while now and those tones are smack bang kyle bull, captured so well. If I was to corksniff theres just a ferocity/visciouscness thats lost a bit with the digital stuff. Can you mess around with running a boost pre/fx or out of the kemper maybe? I've been all in on Fractal gear for years now and going back to a real amp with a boost pedal recently there's just been some extra beef it brings. But man again, those tones are 99% there, amazing job.

Easier for him to make money off selling Kemper profiles. Although the amount of paid profiles out there is tremendous. I have over 100k paid profiles from over the years. The trick is in knowing how to match up to IRs, even for AxeFx and Helix and Quad Cortex.

Ya know... to find a recent video of someone playing metal on a Kemper is rare to find in my experience, especially since I've been looking into this these quite extensively, and what better than to hear it from Mr. Kyle ^_^ . Thanks for the video, because this changed my opinion hearing it from a more recent video, in a positive way. I'm still learning about it too, but I have yet to hear someone mic it up to a cab and record it that way, but that's just fine man. Thanks again Kyle.

a year later - do you still play the kemper - think its "as good" or at least say 90% there compared to the real thing? I still haven't pulled the trigger on one because now there the axe effects and helix but they aren't the same as far as profiling the real thing - have you used the helix or axe effect vs the kemper or prefer one over the other?
I want to get another QC or maybe an FM3. I'm trying to record some riffs and wish I had a modeler for simplicity sake.

Tips: to match a little more the feel of the unboosted... Lower the definition parameter as compensate with the clarity parameter. Sometimes I need to lower a little too the pick parameter to get a closer feeling to the real amp when I play through a guitar cab...

Yep, like I said in the video, its a direct capture into the ower amps mentioned into the v30 loaded 412 in the video. Feels very similar to a real amp, but a little tighter

Just stumbled upon this after buying a Kemper. Sounds great. Loading them in my kemper ASAP
Some I noticed with the Kemper: it doesn't display the EQ values until you move said dial at which point then it's hard to know how much that moved-dial has deviated from the last EQ value. Kemper need to display the value constantly on the panel. e.g:
1) "Presence (+0.2)"
or
2) Presence
(+0.2)
Good point! Im waiting for mine too arrive, but I suspect the pc software is better for tweaking as it may display more info constantly than the amp itself, just something ive heard mentioned, no experience yet!
I like that it actually sounds like an amp. Too many profilers and models sound too fizzy. This sounds really nice.
You should do a playthrough vid of some bushido code songs. Go for extra credit and use different amps throughout the song
Amazing. It sounds very close to my Boss Katana head through my 4x12 cab. No sh1t, the Katana head is the best $350 I ever spent.

Definition up to 10 adds mid range flavor (like cocked wah especially to amps like kraken) .. so keep it around 5-7. check it ( Definition makes tighter the sound but ...no!) . Also Direct or Merged are more useful than Studio profiles and closer to the real amp...I could say Direct are 100% close to the real amp + keep low the Definition!

with all those amps you have you got alot of work cut out for you, in the end it would be nice to switch amps with a push of a button
One thing about the Kemper I have found is that the profiles need a lot tweaking to get them to sound good. Also they are very muddy

Man that sounded awesome overall!!! I have too much ADHD to use a Kemper though..I think I would be lost pretty fast with all the knobs and stuff...I'm a simple man lol The one I'm really waiting for is the Bluguitar Amp X because it has a power section integrated in the unit like the Amp1 Iridium I had.
That's how I felt for a long time but I really felt I should commit and make some profiles, it's easier than i thought!

without an A/B next to the real amp you can't really nit pick these profiles. they sound like good high gain amps to me.
I think I would like the sound enough. I would have a few other concerns though. It's a matter of time before repair parts go obsolete. It's essentially a computer. Tech is always cool when it's new, but rarely ages well. People tend to move on to other things, then support disappears. I've had tube amps for decades.

I could never get the Kemper to sound or feel good to me. I bought a bunch of expensive profiles, spent nearly a month messing with it, and it always sounded like shit. In the Kemper forums, all you get is "it's you not the Kemper".
