We have both of them at home Jawa Classic 300 old version n RE reborn 350 Classic. To be very frank jawa cannot match the low end torque and tractability of J series motor. RE pulls cleanly in each gear at low speeds while jawa cannot.. Jawa's motor shines only at highways .. In city speeds it stalls many a times..
@shashankagarwal805 Will check and it may be better it should have launched with same improvement as now.. but now jawa is out of mind of people's bcoz of older model disadvantages.. but in the history it's the first time that Displacement has increased and bhp decreased in jawa.. 27 bhp to 22 bhp.. All they have done to make it more driveable but old acceleration has gone..

Ive been riding jawa classic from past 3 years. I love how the engine is love to engage in sportier riding. You can feel the bit of every inch of acceleration where these are all missing in the royal Enfield . It's really clear, If you want a relaxed ride ,opt for the royal Enfield. If you love sportier ride, get the jawa Fuel efficiency is low on the jawa but the way it rides never disappoints it

But am still love and have joy in riding my Jawa Jawa is my daily basis. Jawa is meant as a sports machine in which the DNA deserves the power to cruise . Love Jawa Classic a true retro. No offense on RE bikes.
To hell with premium. I own a jawa 42 with spoke wheels and tube tires. From last 6 months, jawa is not able to find me a tube of the rear wheel. Everytime i am fitting a tube of different profile and as a result, puncture in every two days Jawa has never paid attention to spares. Its not about sale. Its also about parts and spares. Local puncture guys and tire shops dont even want to touch jawa because of complexity. And dont forget the bad seat of jawa. No comfort.
Jawa's back with a Mojo-derived engine, vibrating less but still noticeable. Tried it out, but it lacks the charm of Royal Enfield. And if it had just one exhaust, it might sound better.
We can debate as much as we want but the sales numbers clearly prove JAWA IS BEATEN BY GARGANTUAN MARGIN. I mean, for every Java at least 40 Royal enfield 350s are sold and most of them are classics and I am being lenient.
The Classic 350 remains a full cruiser bike, while the Jawa 350 is a combination of a cruiser and a sport bike. If you are interested in cruising and prefer a slow and relaxed ride, then the Classic 350 is the better choice. However, if you are someone who enjoys a slow cruise but also wants to experience speed riding, then the Jawa would be more suitable. Personally, I find the new Jawa to be very smooth around turns compared to the Classic, which is a significant factor for me.
I've a Meteor and I manage figures as high as 37-38 kmpl in city. I ride slow, not a snail's pace though. But a high gear low RPM doesn't necessarily give a high fuel economy because one needs to either slip the clutch or open throttle a bit more than necessary. Experimentally, a third gear 40-45 kmph steadily held pace gives better fuel economy because the throttle is 60-65% open, enough to power the vehicle but also reduces pumping loss. Additionally, the "ECO" sign on my Meteor's console helps. I'd suggest you to optimise your riding a bit more and you can manage 35-36 kmpl easily. Tyre pressures also need to be checked weekly. Ride safe my biker friend 🙏🙏
I have classic 350 as well and I’m getting 40-41 kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic of Pune. Just keep an eye on tyre pressure and keep chain well lubricated.
