Coheed and Cambria combined elements of progressive rock, alternative metal, progressive metal, post-hardcore and emo that tops them as the masters of 'newly-styled' progressive music.
Their albums are concept albums based on the comic series created by the psyche of frontman Claudio Sanchez.
Their songs are a healthy balance of heaviness and softness, I recommend "Wake Up". It's like an audio wallpaper to the sense of hearing.

Coheed's songs (Except from one album) are all related to the sci-fi, Star-Wars like comic book story written by their vocalist, Claudio Sanches. The Amory Wars.

Piano typically represents the passing of time in their songs.

Really appreciate you checking out more than just Welcome Home, as most channels seem to do. This band really has an outstanding catalog that I think a lot of reaction channels greatly underestimate.
I've also noticed that you don't have any Imminence.. They're another epic band. Kind of an anomaly, they're from Sweden, considered "metalcore" with the addition of a violinist lead singer - he does play and sing at the same time, he also has a great voice that delivers a lot of emotion.
My suggested songs would be Chasing Shadows, Alleviate, and Moth To A Flame.

If you react to their Album Title track for Window of the Waking Mind it takes the cinematic space opera style to the next level and ends up feeling and sounding like a full on Broadway musical production.

Great reaction once again. I would recommend "The Gutter" for a guaranteed like, or something completely out of the blue like some acoustic song ("Atlas", "Senrty The Defiant", or even their newest song "The Liars Club" have particularly amazing acoustic versions).

Just discovered your Coheed reactions and subbed. Please check out "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3" from their second album of the same name. It's my favorite song from them and very representative of their beloved classic sound before their newer direction.
