- This one took me by far the longest to make, due to me needing to get better at playing the guitar. Making these covers I feel is great for my musicianship and I enjoy the challenges they present, but at the same time I get SO TIRED of listening to the songs I enjoy repeatedly because I'm trying to get the cover sounding good.

The amount of effort present in this silly Miku cover is insane, the back melody being a custom cover, the custom artwork, on top of syncing Miku to the music.

not to discredit the uploader (it still takes a good amount of effort), but I just wanted to point it out
@@anidiot4702 I get what you’re saying, editing vocaloid vocals over an instrumental isn’t necessarily hard (I’ve done similar stuff myself, albeit really badly), but it’s really evident that the instrumental isn’t the original one.
In the description he mentions how he basically made a cover of the instrumental of the original song himself, and that’s what took the most effort.
I would had expected that you, as a musician, would had noticed that the instrumental is a cover since the beginning.
@@saquial I haven’t listened to the original song in quite a while but after reading this, i compared them. and yeah, they deserve more credit than i gave them in the first comment.
(also just because i study composition doesn’t mean i know how a song goes lol)
@@anidiot4702 It’s understandable that you lack some context, what should be considered is that the first opinion was made even though that context was lacking.
@@anidiot4702 The fact that this isn't the original instrumental went unnoticed on first listen is actually a huge compliment, even if its been a while since you've heard it, so thanks! and its not just importing vocals, when you cover a song with miku and you're making your own vsqx, you have to essentially transcribe everything (rhythm, melody, harmony, vocal inflections/dynamics, rubato, vibrato) by hand

About how you make these covers: do you transcribe it, or do you learn it by ear? If the latter, you'd save quite a lot of time.
If you do transcribe it, ignore me. I really like this cover!
If there are tabs or similar available then I use those as a starting point, if not then I transcribe it by ear.

its not ai, its miku, vocaloid, basically a super complex synth
