  • Did you like my Bane voice 😂😂
I only do this to prove to you that you can decide to sound however you want, because your voice is just a series of behaviours, yet so many of us attach our entire identity to our voice.
Don't be so attached to a series of behaviours. If you don't like how you sound, just know that you CAN change it.

I speak in a very low voice. It is just that the power of my voice is only so much(I think so).If I make a conscious effort to speak louder, the other person will get to know that I am deliberately speaking louder because they already know how I sound. This would make the situation awkward and funny sometimes.
How to make sure that the effort I make is not evident to the other person?

Have you tried to prime them? Like told them you do not like how you sound and practice to change that?

Practice on camera and with time your voice will start to mix with the new one

I am in the same similar situation. I worry that I might sound angry (some people said I sounded angry when I'm not) when I increase my speaking volume

Well said and so interesting but hiw do you know how high and low you could sound in a scale. For instance if you are angry about something and you are yelling but you realize that the higher you are going, you feel and hear your voice is changing in a way unrecognizable and moreover weakened at the same time. Does it have to do with how you feel or everyone has a top he can reach and then his voice going crazy?

Of course you can change your voice, that's how voice actors and voice impressionists get paid. You have to consciously make the voice change right at the start of your day and keep doing it everyday all day until muscle memory kicks in and it becomes another 'invisible' habit. The trick is consistency, it won't happen unless you put it into action. Your environment and the people in it also have a big impact on how you speak. Apply it to yourself, is there anyone you find changing your tone or way of speaking when you're around them?

Vinh you spot what we (specially me) lack, and provide the best answers to the questions that we have. You are a great person.
    (.../
There's just one thing that I need to know. It's a question. Is there a way for me to feel ok with these changes around people without feeling weird or some kind of not being comfortable with these changes?
Also, please avoid coming to the conclusion of telling me to go consult a psychologist.
