    I ordered a couple sheets of puff to test it out and I ended having a lot of wrinkles, out of the 12 sheets I ordered, I got one decent press. Any idea what I could have done to help it? I tried messing with settings up and down, just wondering if you guys had any experience with this. Appreciate any help!

      Hey Max! We definitely want to make sure you awesome results with our transfers- If you haven't already, submit a resolution from your account dashboard- you can upload photos and our team can absolutely help.
      That being said, there's a few tricks we always use when pressing: Puff Inks will pickup any obstructions in the printing surface, part of the reason we recommend threading the garment over the lower platen (so only one layer of fabric is on the press and not two). We also will remove the quick slip pad protector or any coversheets on the lower platen- it helps give the inks room to expand and eliminate any texture the puff inks may pick up.
      Also, this depends on the garment you're printing on, but be sure to stay away from any seams or collars and be sure to have them off the lower platen so the inks get a nice firm & even pressure.

    Hi there, so t he heat transfer sheet has the ability to be puff printed? Is the price the same as plastisol inks?
    GREAT VID-E-OH!

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  Před 2 lety +1

      Yup! The puff additive in the inks doesn't react until heat activated when you press! All of our screen printed transfers are priced the same.

    Great tips... thanks. Quick question - your website only caters for USA and Canada... do you have a UK equivalent? It won't let me register otherwise. :(

    Is there a way to fix hoodies which have fallen puff paint?

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  Před rokem

      Hey Mina! The Puff agent in the inks here reacts to heat (I can't speak for any other type of dimensional ink or paint) so it's possible to try to get the puff to reactivate with heat and no pressure. Hovering the heat press overtop the inks without closing it can sometimes help the print rise. Any full repress will completely flatten the print.

    Can you elaborate on it only coming in white or black but can “couple” them with goof proof colors ? I’m confused.

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  Před 2 lety +2

      Sorry for the confusion 1zzy, the inks that puff are only available in white and black. But, they can be combined with other (non puff/goof proof) ink colors. For example: If you had a green and white logo, you can have the white inks be puff while the green is just goof proof. Hope this helps!

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Puff ink works great on hats! We've had fantastic results printing on a foam-front trucker cap with puff ink. Follow these same instructions (and if you have a 360 IQ, turn the lower heated platen off)
