    This is a fantastic whiteboard session and cleared up some basic info that would have probably taken me some time digging through technical documentation for. Look forward to more!

    we are having a storage DRS cluster with 3 datastores. How can we enable vCenter HA as it requires active passive and witness nodes should be in separate datastores?

  • @irfandharma
    @irfandharma Před 6 lety

    a good video. if the active vcenter goes down, then passive vcenter will be the active. then again previous active vcenter come up, will automatically revert back and previous active VC turn back to active VC again?

  • @JasonRasmussen
    @JasonRasmussen Před 6 lety

    But what happens with VMs running on the active node that failed?

    • @VMwarevSphere
      @VMwarevSphere  Před 3 lety

      It's reversed using Premiere... but we appreciate the respect, it's hard to write and talk and not write over your face, even when you're doing it forwards. :)

    Hi Adam, what is the client impact in the event of a failover, will a client, (Web/UI client or any API client) connecting to the vCenter Server appliance loose connection. What is the RTO is it seconds or minutes?
