It was a positive landing, as it’s often the case on CIA’s runway 15. The reason is simple: there’s a steep upslope. You really realize it when taxiing on the parallel taxiway because on final, you don’t see much of the natural horizon (but the hills instead) and the visual picture doesn’t show you this. Add the relatively short length for a -800 and the fact that these RYR guys aim to vacate before the end to save a minute or two and you have a firm landing. Have rarely seen nor done a greaser on this strip.
Excuse you I play P3D and I get +15 fpm therefore I am an expert and therefore I can tell people who fly real aircraft that their landings are shit if they don't get at least -5 fpm! LMAO

@@kriskris_2_1 That's getting so old now if u knew anything about aviation witch u don't by the looks of thing's U will know that sometimes landings can't always be perfect and plus a lot of the runways are short that Ryanair land on so u need to put the aircraft down firmly sometimes so the jokes on you mate
@@CJ-zt5mr Its SOP's and safety too! They require the flight crew to land on the touch-down zone to get an early but safe RWY exit to reduce taxi times and speed up turnaround times! This will induce a few firm landings here and there as its a tricky thing to do.

More ground spoiler deflection ( 60deg ) Faster transition from aproach idle to ground idle It gives a bit more landing perfomance on wet rwy ( on dry rwy not so much) This airline operate some charter flights in summer time , short runways ....so that's why ... The sticker serves as a reminder to the pilots , because sfp aircrafts are harder to decelerate in the air ( flaps are less effective due to delayed slat extension )

You can barely hear it with the headsets but you see it moving so u are aware of uncommanded or unexpected stabilizer trim motion.
