    Just purchased a 2022 high country diesel, couldn’t wait as I filled it up at 300 miles and 26 mpg figured on a calculator. I traded a 21 Z71 LTZ and was getting 16 average on it. A lot better mileage on the 22 model

    I got my truck last month and I’m super happy with it I got the RST model and the drive from south Texas to Montana was super smooth and pumped Diesel 3 times only I love the mileage on it

    Highly doubt anyone actually saves any money on fuel costs with the 3.0 when you factor in the cost of diesel

    I knew I recognized that old restaurant. And mountains in the back. I live out here as well. I put same fender liners in as you they work great. Have 2 wheel drive 2022 but not refreshed diesel. Went to Sonoita and back got 30 mpg.

    Great video. I ordered my 2022 silverado march 25, mine will be rst and the z71 package and of course the 3.0l diesel. I am still waiting. It was built in ft. wayne 9 weeks ago and has been sitting in a lot in marion ohio waiting to be delivered. Its totally done and final inspected. Just wondered if anyone else has been waiting this long or longer just to get their truck shipped. Everyone i have contacted can't tell me anything. Anyway like i said very good video and i will be watching for the next one.

    My 2022 3.0 trail boss LT getting highway 22mpg at 70 mph and
    City 14-16 mpg. It has 636 miles only. Hopefully it’s still in the learning stages. Lol

    • @ShuaPhotography
      @ShuaPhotography  Před rokem

      Terrain is a big factor also. Depending on your elevation changes in the city and on the highway, that will effect it dramatically. The trail boss is higher off the ground and heavier than an LT like mine, so you may not get the same economy as me.

    I have been on the Chevy website all night. Trying to build a silverado. Only options I'm trying to put together is the diesel 3.0 new infotainment setup and the bench seat. And can't find a trim that will allow me to do it. Did you build your truck or get it online.

    • @ShuaPhotography
      @ShuaPhotography  Před rokem

      I didn't build mine. You need to find LT. (Atleast that's what mine is) you'll be ordering a 2023 that will come standard with the new infotainment system.

    Do you think you get about 600 miles from a tank now?

    • @ShuaPhotography
      @ShuaPhotography  Před 2 lety

      I have been averaging 25-26pg not babying it, Usually fill up around the 500 mark with about 100 miles left on the counter. So probably pretty close to it.

    Curious if GM put a 120v receptacle in your arm rest console? I see one for the rear passengers. The AT4 was only in the console

    • @ShuaPhotography

      Depends on your trim level and seating arrangements. Mine, with the split bench front does not.

  • @kwlambright

    One question: any ac problems? My 22 refresh started cutting air flow from the vents and spoke to dealer and got a we haven’t heard of this before. Sounds like the damper doors are moving, probably electrical. I did have it happen today on my way to work and directed it to the windshield and back to vents and it started blowing cold again. Hate to bring it in and have them make me the Guinea pig

    • @ShuaPhotography
      @ShuaPhotography  Před 2 lety

      Good question,
      I have not had this issue in this truck, but I had the same problem in my '21 2500HD. It was intermittent, but would happen when the infotainment system would freeze. Is your infotainment system operational when the AC doesn't work?
