People always talked about how great of a Villian Aizen was and that's true, but i just couldn't help but think that Urahara would've been as menacing if he were to happened to go the same dark path as Aizen. These two are on par with each other for me, they're what each other would've become if they chose to be good/bad. Two sides of the same coin.
@@hunterofdarkness8329 actually it wasn’t because of editors, he wasn’t sure himself but then he chose to use Aizen as a villain to have a battle of intellect between them. The best choice I would say, kubo loves both of them.
As far as I know, he was in two minds about the main villain of the series being being Aizen and Gin and not Urahara. His idea was to have Gin kill Aizen to show he’s the actual villain, so imo he must’ve discarded the idea of Urahara being a villain pretty fast.
Can't tell you have many times i've replayed this one. AIzen is probably one of the coolest villains in anime history. And the music, combined with the amazing voice acting, back story and the sadness in Urahara's eyes, almost makes you sympathize somewhat with Aizen.
Bleach is my favourite anime for a reason, every action in Bleach has its results and consequences. The main antagonists of Bleach are great written characters and i just can't stop enjoying this anime
This feels like the realest, most truthful that Aizen has ever been. The fact that the Soul King was mutilated by his own subordinates and effectively turned into a totem of sorts is pretty messed up. Whether he's angry about what happened to the Soul King or actually at the Soul King for being such a crude lynchpin is uncertain. But the way he both acknowledges Urahara's intelligence and is furious that he hasn't arrived at the same conclusions shows that, for once, he's not using cryptic speech to hide his true intentions or speaking arrogantly. He really feels like the status quo is unnatural and has to change. Maybe, just maybe, the main reason he's so cruel and conniving is because even the most informed or intelligent Soul Reapers simply wouldn't be able to accept that their reality hinges on an 'abomination.' Worth pointing out that the 0 Squad intended to do the same to Ichigo if anything ever happened to the Soul King. And since Yhwach has replaced the Soul King, they'd most likely still plan to use Ichigo if anything ever happened to Yhwach.
This whole thing is so dark if you think about it, the soul king was the key to the end of all the despair in the old world, but then the heads of the 5 noble clans decided to change things and stripped the soul king of his limbs and organs so that he can't oppose, then continued to give him the status of "god", a dead god. The entirety of bleach was being ruled by a corpse and when his son Yhwach tried to do what anyone would've done, he was met with the exact same fate as his father, being trapped in a capsule for eternity while being neither alive nor dead.
This right here is one of the many reasons I love aizens character, when the whole world is built upon this kind of atrocity you understand why aizen did what he did
how do people watch this scene and still completly misunderstand Aizen's character, like a bunch of his quote literally are built so well for this moment("admiration is the furthest thing from understanding", the entire "how gods are born" speech with his take on trusting others and people seeking someone higher than them that have more responsbilities and the quoate abt truth).
@@hebrew26commandmentspower55 It's not about subservient. But it is about the balance. If Soul King is destroyed the balance between 3 realms will collapse. And in the end it would make a great chaos. The Soul King himself is the lichpin that keep this balance.
Soul king had almighty he knew what would happen to him, he could've easily done something about It but he chose not. I think Urahara respects Soulking's decision and he knows that Soulking chose the best outcome.
I love both of the characters equally and I absolutely love dynamic between them it makes them so special as characters and they're writing is magnificent and they're arguably one of the best characters in the series.
I love how urahara kinda looks down a little sad when aizen asks him if he’s alright without overthrowing. You can tell he’s thought the same things as aizen, but was able to choose against it

Aizen is right in that the status quo should be changed if it can be, but he is wrong in his methods and other intentions Kisuke is right in that the wrong type of change can be catastrophic, but he is wrong to maintain the current status quo
Maaaan!!! After last eps thus hits like a truck 😭 Aizen was always of the idea that everyone is always looking for someone better/superior then themselves, realizing what the soul king actually was and how it was reduced to this form probably disgusted him to the point that he sat on the path of either finding someone else to replace him or be the one to dispose of the soul king
while the end objetive of Aizen and Yhwach are the same (to end the soul king), their goal is way different, Yhwach wants to recreate the world before death existed meanwhile Aizen want to be the King of Kings of this same world.
It still kind of breaks me that Aizen was actually the one in the right all this time. Yes, he did bad things, destroyed dozens of lifes and would've taken 100000 more but in doing so he would've destroyed the corruption that plagued the afterlife, the literal heaven, and saved an unimaginable amount of souls from living in the terrible conditions that plague the four Rukongai. The bad side of Soul Society doesn't even end there. It doesn't distinguish the more civilized higher level hollows and arrancar with the rabid run of the mill hollows. They literally practice spiritual racism which definitely extends to Quincy and quite possibly also to the souls that live in the Rukongai. Then there also is the Soul King. The first and greatest Sin of the world. The darkest blotch of so many that mar this supposed heaven. I really wish that Kubo had Aizen more invested into his goal. An actual emotional investment to make his failed revolution even more painful for us to bear.
Soul king was actually let it all happen, he let the five ancestors to do it to him because he can see the future, he saw the future and I think he thought that it was for the better if it goes on the way it is supposed to, that's why he didn't resist his own mutilation. Some might call this theory false saying that who would want something like that to be done to themselves, but they forget that soul king was a transcendent being not only in power, but also in thoughts and beliefs, so he chose to sacrifice himself for the greater good I guess

I feel like the soul king did it to protect ywach from becoming the new soul king. In no way would be able to be subjucated since he is the most powerful being in the bleachverse. But as usual kids dont understand the vast wisdom of parents until they are much older and ywachs age compared to the soul kings age is still a mere child. Yes its very much unfair to be betrayed that way but for the child imo makes sense.
In cfyow it is said and heavily implied that when shunsui said ichigo won’t come back to world of the living it was actually because ichigo was going replace soul king and that ichibe was a sadistic monster who captured soul king sliced him up threw those parts away and leave soul king in a half death state in which he was gonna do the same to ichigo and that shunsui accepted this, this just explains that aizen, tosen was right all along how the soul society and its hierarchy are secretly the evil and corrupted one
Ichibe isn't the one who captured or gutted him, it was the five ancestors. Ichibe merely stood to the side and let it happen. And it's also not implied, Ichibe literally says they would've done it and Shunsui is horrified by how casually he mentions it. Everyone _but_ Ichibe is horrified by the Soul King, even the other Royal Guard. Not only that, Ichibe resurrects all of them, forcing them to remain Royal Guards forever. It's not necessarily that all Shinigami are bad... But he's literally the biggest villain and manipulator out there. Those funeral rites that send dead Captains to Hell which Shinigami didn't know about? Most likely Ichibe invented it. In fact, the reason Hell is even breaking out is because so much Reiatsu has disappeared and Aizen is in the Muken. If Aizen was released, his Reiatsu alone would keep Hell sealed. _Also_ his shitty brush is the reason Ichigo couldn't hear the Old Man's true name in the beginning.... he erased it from being allowed or whatever (Kubo said this). Guy is the true villain.
For me it's more like urahara knows that this is bad system but also knows that no one could do better that the soul king, no better person is born to take his place not even ichigo. Aizen on the other hand geneounly thinks he could make a better world. But we know he couldn't. it's like living in a corrupt country and some hot headed youngling thinks toppling the government would be the first step to change the country for the best.
Urahara is goofy yet badass for aizen to even say such things to him its terrifying if Urahara with mind far superior than anyone in soul society together with his mysterious hidden power boy imagine what he become if he really decide to take soul king power
This exchange hits even harder now knowing what the fuck the soul king is😂😂 and it also shows the duality of faith, One knows the truth; Thinks we shouldn’t live in such a place The other knows the truth; Knows it’s necessary in order to keep balance in the world Neither are wrong but there can only be one solution

From what I'm hearing Kisuke was supposed to do originally, but Kubo's editor convinced him the change things up
@@hunterofdarkness8329 actually it wasn’t because of editors, he wasn’t sure himself but then he chose to use Aizen as a villain to have a battle of intellect between them. The best choice I would say, kubo loves both of them.
@@hunterofdarkness8329 No,Aizen would have stayed dead. We would technically have still 1 Aizen.
It's funny you say that, I read that originally Tite Kubo wanted to make Urahara the bad guy. In another universe we would have had the answer
As far as I know, he was in two minds about the main villain of the series being being Aizen and Gin and not Urahara. His idea was to have Gin kill Aizen to show he’s the actual villain, so imo he must’ve discarded the idea of Urahara being a villain pretty fast.
When you realized the the whole Bleach season back then was just all about Aizen vs. Urahara and Ichigo and the rest are just pawns for their war
When you realized that you stole this comment from another video
@@rojetx8204 oh there's a comment like this in other videos? Guess I'm not the only one who realized this
Can't tell you have many times i've replayed this one. AIzen is probably one of the coolest villains in anime history. And the music, combined with the amazing voice acting, back story and the sadness in Urahara's eyes, almost makes you sympathize somewhat with Aizen.
Aizen - the only one who can blow up Urahara’s mind
Urahara - the only one who can break Aizen’s plan
Maybe, just maybe, the main reason he's so cruel and conniving is because even the most informed or intelligent Soul Reapers simply wouldn't be able to accept that their reality hinges on an 'abomination.'
Worth pointing out that the 0 Squad intended to do the same to Ichigo if anything ever happened to the Soul King. And since Yhwach has replaced the Soul King, they'd most likely still plan to use Ichigo if anything ever happened to Yhwach.
real
Aizen in front of Others 😎😎
Aizen in front of Urahara🤬🤬🤬
This whole thing is so dark if you think about it, the soul king was the key to the end of all the despair in the old world, but then the heads of the 5 noble clans decided to change things and stripped the soul king of his limbs and organs so that he can't oppose, then continued to give him the status of "god", a dead god. The entirety of bleach was being ruled by a corpse and when his son Yhwach tried to do what anyone would've done, he was met with the exact same fate as his father, being trapped in a capsule for eternity while being neither alive nor dead.
Maybe we can see more of Aizen and the Soul King during the upcoming Hell's arc

This right here is one of the many reasons I love aizens character, when the whole world is built upon this kind of atrocity you understand why aizen did what he did
That "Urahara Kisuke 🤬" 🔥
how do people watch this scene and still completly misunderstand Aizen's character, like a bunch of his quote literally are built so well for this moment("admiration is the furthest thing from understanding", the entire "how gods are born" speech with his take on trusting others and people seeking someone higher than them that have more responsbilities and the quoate abt truth).
You can tell how much aizen respected urahara but hated him for being subservient to a mindless god.
It’s even deeper than that
@@realtruth1448 explain?
@@hebrew26commandmentspower55 It's not about subservient. But it is about the balance. If Soul King is destroyed the balance between 3 realms will collapse. And in the end it would make a great chaos. The Soul King himself is the lichpin that keep this balance.

I love both of the characters equally and I absolutely love dynamic between them it makes them so special as characters and they're writing is magnificent and they're arguably one of the best characters in the series.

Aizen was always of the idea that everyone is always looking for someone better/superior then themselves, realizing what the soul king actually was and how it was reduced to this form probably disgusted him to the point that he sat on the path of either finding someone else to replace him or be the one to dispose of the soul king
while the end objetive of Aizen and Yhwach are the same (to end the soul king), their goal is way different, Yhwach wants to recreate the world before death existed meanwhile Aizen want to be the King of Kings of this same world.
@@gokulkumar7380 In the short flashes of memories concerning the separation of the primordial world, the only thing we can clearly see is that the ritual caused his limbs to separate from his torso. So I do not think he consented to having his innards taken out of him. How do I know that? Well he at the very least lost his brain and his heart. The Brain, much like Mimihagi and Pernida, developed its own personality we know as Gremmy while the Heart most likely fused with Gerard when he was a fetus causing it to somewhat become his own.
Kisuke: Soul King...

Up to this point in the TYBW anime (roughly a couple of hours from now, the Kenpachi vs Gremmy episode will air), ever since this scene debuted, a lot of people don't know what the Soul King actually is or symbolizes nor why it's so important to two fan favorite characters
I'm very much hoping for an in-depth elaboration about the Soul King to be added in the anime (like how Yhwach and Aizen's unseen meeting was adapted into the anime) so they'd understand how damned the story behind the Soul King is
I'm hoping for a real "WTF" response from those people realizing the truth behind it all; they'll realize this arc isn't just "Soul Reaper vs Quincy" or "Fighting without Bankai" and will hopefully gain a greater investment in the battles to come

Aizen and madara gotta be some of the best villains in fiction.
They are the perfect blend between cool af and greatly written.
The funny thing is that kubo was planning to make kisuke the main villain and kill off aizen when he supposedly "died" in the first arc
Urahara is the stronger version of Aizen, seen everything, doesnt agree with it all, yet it still take the damage for the greater good.
Bleach is basically story of these 2 as king of the chess

I feel like the soul king did it to protect ywach from becoming the new soul king. In no way would be able to be subjucated since he is the most powerful being in the bleachverse. But as usual kids dont understand the vast wisdom of parents until they are much older and ywachs age compared to the soul kings age is still a mere child. Yes its very much unfair to be betrayed that way but for the child imo makes sense.
Aizen is the true hero to the bleach verse, and I can imagine ichibi turning Aizen to the next soul king
The fact how beautiful and amazing bleach really is🥹
Now the soul king got ichigo training 😭
This makes so much sense after reading the last arc
The novel CFYOW explains it further. I haven't fully read it myself but I've heard about the soul king parts from others
Ichigo would fuck him up if he tried anything. He'd also do it if he knew the whole truth.
@@LegaltTO everything you said was correct, and i agree, ichibe really is the true villain aside from the 5 ancestor/family
