      Thanks Levi, I love Jobims music too. Good to hear your out "Gigging" I'm envious, its been a long time since I did that, it would be great to play with a live drummer again. Keith :)

    Superb. Can’t imagine why you held this one back.
    The SK-2 never sounded better.

      Thanks Keith, I probably wasn't happy with it at first, it happens to me a lot, so I lock them up in a cupboard and listen to them again after a few months, strange things must happen in that cupboard because when I play them again they seem a bit better..........I think the same happens to wine lol.......

    Sounds beautiful Keith, reminds me a bit of the smooth playing style and sounds of Walter Wanderly.😎

    Outstanding ....do you create the backing track on Band in a Box first
    and then just play on top? sounds wonderful Thanx

    that's really nice, Keith. Do you also have pedals on that machine? I like the "Schmear" of the Sax, too! Nice fat sound, and you know that's what I like. Happy New year, pal. :0)

    • @KeithHorton1
      @KeithHorton1  Před 6 lety

      Thanks Mike, I do have a set of Hammond Midi pedals, although on this occassion I was using PG Music's excellent Band In A Box backing, I find this is the closest thing to actually playing with live musicians, every time the backing is generated it's slightly different, just like real muso's would do.
      Thanks again for listening Mike and a Happy New Year to you too :)

    Hello Keith. Always a plessure to hear and see you playing, and what a gear you have, The Roland a-49 is it god to use ?? Thank you for All your music, enjoy it very musch

      Thanks Hans, nice to know you enjoy my music and thanks for listening and subscribing to my Channel.
      The Roland A49 is a great little midi controller keyboard, others I've tried seem very cheap and spongy to the touch, but the Roland Keybed feels really good.
      All the best, Keith

    Hey Keith, a great organ performance. May I ask for the purpose of the little black box at the left top side of your organ?
    Kind regards from Germany
    Hans-Joachim

    • @KeithHorton1
      @KeithHorton1  Před 6 lety

      Thanks Hans, The litle black box is a Bose Companion 3 sattelite speaker, it serves no purpose at all regarding the SK2, it's just for playing stuff from my PC. Happy New Year, Keith :)

      Keith Horton Thank you, Keith, for your reply. My question was aiming the device with the 8 buttons on the left side of the top keys. As far as I could see you are here controlling effects like bending.
      Thanks in advance for another reply
      Regards
      Hans-Joachim

    • @KeithHorton1
      @KeithHorton1  Před 6 lety

      Sorry for misunderstanding what you meant, what your referring to is actually a Roland A49 Midi Controller Keyboard, I had it midied up to the Tyros 5 so I could play the Tyros Sax voice. If you Google the Keyboard you will easily find it as they are still available to buy, I have however sold mine.
      Cheers, Keith

      Good morning Keith, thank you very much for your efforts conc. my question. Have a nice day. We have a Holiday here in our federal state (Baden-Württemberg), but that makes no difference for me due to be a lucky retiree (SMILE)
      Kind regards from Germany

    Very nice-the sound is a bit like an X66. What’s the secret😊?

    • @KeithHorton1
      @KeithHorton1  Před 6 lety

      No secret Allan, the sounds are all there in the SK2, just straight Organ and vibrato without the built in Leslie sim, I think I may have played around with the EQ settings to get a brighter sound, but not intentionally trying to imitate an X66, anyway thanks for listening 👍
