Just got a new singer and you are giving me some good advice..I had my mother's Janome and it did alot of the stitches that this new on does but hers was with cams and it did embroidery. I also have 2 antique singers one is a pedal type from the 1800 and the other one is a portable with a motor but my step son did not care about any of my things and he threw it allover so I have pieces missing so it doesn't work anymore so I had to go out and buy a new one and as for my grandmother's singer I need to have the tension reset and a belt put on...
