I’m 78 and my husband is 81…we will celebrate, Lord willing, our 60th anniversary next February! We are blessed to have 2 sons & a daughter who have given us 10 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren! I love watching you clean because you clean like I did before I became handicapped! I can’t keep up with things like I used to & I get frustrated with myself! It’s the same with cooking, I need easy recipes, so tomorrow I will make your pasta! Anna I clean just like you. I am now 72 and have slowed down a little, but I like a home that is thoroughly clean. My family always wants me to come and help them because they know how well I clean a house. I also love gardening. I don't think I have ever meet a flower I did not like!
I love the old music too, 70's 80's & 90's. I also love praise & worship . It just lifts me up and reminds me what a wonderful God we serve!

Oh, you would be freaking out if you had seen me eat the same thing every day, three months in a row for lunch! I worked at a credit union that only gave us 45 minutes for lunch, so I ate Wendy's chili because I knew I could drive there and back and be able to eat it (and be full) by the time lunch time was over! Gone are those days, since I learned how to cook yrs later! Love your personality and videos! What a beautiful garden you have!

One side of my house has been gutted The master bathroom will have a steam shower and chose a stylish tile for a wall where I want sconces and two mirrors I’m creating a glamorous, bathroom w/o any bling bling! Then comes the floor I chose ceramic nonslip floor I’m praying this gets done! The contractor is hauling the work because, they know I have COVID I’m staying @ one end of the house, but still they don’t want to work it! I’m in New Tampa, Fl On the Westcoast enjoying my retirement can’t wait to go on another cross country trip 😉 I always enjoy your videos ❤

We just got back from our family vacation to Florida. We had such a wonderful time. Now I’m home and need to work in my gardens. Seems like the weeds invited themselves over while we were gone and of course, the bunnies don’t like weeds. I have started cleaning out my closet. I heard someone say that if you feel overwhelmed when looking at the whole closet, then section it off and do one section at a time. So far, that has worked. I have put it off for a long time because of being overwhelmed. Can’t wait to see your renovations.

I love listening to Left coast 70's on Soma FM and The Bridge on Sirius XM Anna.. Yacht Rock is great for keeping the summer vibes going for sure;>) I will eat leftovers for a day or two but either snack my way through the day or grab something on the way home from work. I don't like cooking when it's really hot outside. I do however like the meals you make & will try to create them when I'm in the mood. We live in a neighborhood that was built in the late 1990's and our house has the "formal" living room and a family room. I've turned the formal living room into a moody library to hold our travel treasures and unique books that we love. I'm loving your idea of the built in desk!

Our home projects are 1. We are turning 2 horsestalls in the barn into a garden room and garage for the gator.
2. Put up 250 ft privacy fence panels that will have 5 ft deep garden along it. It will take some time to fill with plants but so far its nice! I work with headphones all the time. Makes work time fly!! You should buy the Hahn steamer to mop floors. It is a game changer they are so clean and uses just water so no chemicals and disinfects floors too.

I always listen to 60’s on Sirius radio. I just checked out Yacht Rock and I’m so glad you mentioned it. 70’s was my era and I love it! I’m also not a left-over person but I freeze a lot of things.

Our project this spring was of course working on the garden also we removed the deck right off of the back porch and screened in the back porch. Now we our getting ready to work on a new path to the pool . I’m also working on adding a bit of color in the house , I had it about all white . It never ends right . 😂

In Pennsylvania we had a basement so hubby had a bar down their in the movie room. Now his pride and joy is his shop here in Texas. He works from home & just got a cow hide rug for that space. He collects art from everywhere we travel & that goes in their as well. I figure I decorate the rest of the house, he needs a space that is all his. Excited to see how things come together. Great video again. So happy I found you. You always brighten my day. We are putting new counter tops in. I like old items to decorate with. My fence has old farm equipment. My garden has galvanized buckets full of flowers. I collect whatever I can find in tag sales or flea markets. I have shelves with old toys and dishes etc from the 30’s and up. I like the whole workmen ship, they sure don’t make things like they use too. But my favorite in my whole house is my Royal Doulton Country Rose China dishes. Looking forward to your new library.

I, too, have 7 grandkids(believe that's how many you have). 6 grandsons, 1 granddaughter. Oldest will be 23 in Oct, youngest will be 1 on Aug 1. I listen to iHeart and listen to 60's. Like from about '66-72 music. No projects going on😢. Really need and would like to replace my deck and cover it to shade back of my house, but don't know when that will/can be done. Love the plans you have in mind and look forward to seeing the progress and the finish. Btw, when i lived in Fallbrook, Temecula was just a spot along the road, lol. Not much there.😊
Same. 6 grandsons and 1 grand daughter! Temecula has grown so much! Rainbow oaks was and is (when we visit) a favorite breakfast spot!
@homeandgardenwithanna. what a small world. Same number of grandkids and same ratio of boys to girls, lol. My mom worked at Rainbow Oaks when we first moved to Fallbrook. Surprised it's still there. That's where she met my stepdad. He would stop in for coffee and eat on his way to work. He worked for the state forestry and was a camp that worked convicts and at times go out and fight fires when needed.
@rhondawillhite9418 is such a small world! It is VERY popular. He opens with the national anthem, and business stops mid day for it as well. LOTS of Vets. It's a great spot!

It's so sad that that small grocery haul was $76. I can't wait to see all of your plans for your house and yard come to fruition! I love Christian music and dance pop. I love the '80's music as well, that is what I grew up on. I don't like most of the popular secular artists right now either. I like to listen with my headphones as well when I cook and clean and especially when I am reading. Speaking of, your library is the makeover I am looking forward to the most. I have a library myself and love to see inspiration. My husband can keep eating the same things over and over and loves leftovers, but I like to try new things and leftovers are just OK to me especially cooked veggies, no thank you. I love to cook so always wanting something new to make and eat. My whole house is a project..Ha! Neither my husband nor I am very handy so not much gets done. Just falling apart around us. Plus we both work full-time jobs and I work a part-time job as well so no time to really commit to projects. Maybe some day when we are in dire need. Sorry for rambling so much! If you want to do it cheaper I got mine on Amazon they are the ones that doesn’t have to be hard wired and it comes with rechargeable light bulbs and works on remote . I love them
I had those, but I didn't want to have to recharge them all the time. I'd rather use a switch lol

Hi Anna. Love this video. So much good stuff in it. You are full of ideas and plans. That is so great. I also have the problem of cooking for one and I do like you a lot of times and just grab whatever is easy but I do make myself cook. Many of my friends who are widows go out every meal. I just hate that. it has been raining here since the hurricane hit on July 8 so I think I will make that chili for myself today. I have everything to make it. Thanks for that great idea. I don’t mind leftovers if I like them but if it’s some thing that’s not that great I don’t wanna eat it over and over. Of course I think you know the plans I have over here. Just to get my home back together after The hurricane. All this rain is really hampering repairs. I have already gotten the check from the insurance company so now I’m getting bids. Two people are supposed to come today but I don’t know what will happen with all this rain. Also don’t have cable TV back yet because they need to run a new line to the house and it just won’t stop raining. It will be so nice to see our community back to what it was. Not much progress has been made since the storm. I love how you do all sorts of things on your videos. That’s the kind of life most of us lead. We have to clean a little we have to cook a little and we want to garden a little. I really get bored with these channels that are strictly decorating. I know that lots of people like that but we can’t all decorate seven days a week. One lady on CZcams really brags that she never cooks. She advertises her channel to be everything homemaking. To me when you have a family planning meals and cooking is a big part of homemaking if not the biggest part. But I guess to each his own. Thanks for sharing with us. BTW, about your personality and being who you are. I’m a little that way too but have toned it down over the years and I’m not quite as blunt as I once was but I sense in you a kindness and a caring for others. And the fact that Jesus lives in you makes you a sister to me. I love spending time with you love in Christ.
