Mapanuepe Lake Phase 1 Camping | Naturehike Cloud Vessel Fast Tunnel Tent

- For our first camp this year, we were invited back to Mapanuepe Lake. This time, we camped at phase 1, which covers a bigger area compared to phase 2, where we stayed last year. We went with fellow campers who first introduced camping to us, and the owner’s granddaughter. It was a weekend camping but we were not too worried about the crowd because we had an entire area reserved exclusively for us. Yay!
We also recently purchased a new tent and thought this would be a great campsite to test it as the tent features a panoramic sunroof. This tent is the Naturehike Cloud Vessel Fast Tunnel Tent. It is much bigger than our previous tents but easier to set up, thanks to its pre-attached poles. It is also understandably heavier but the panoramic sunroof made all the extra weight worth it! We will upload a full review of this tent soon :)

Thank you, Keith! It was our first time using the tent sa Mapanuepe. The wind there wasn’t really strong, we didn’t have to peg the guy-lines na. We are yet to test the tent to more extreme wind condition. Maybe sa caliraya soon 😊

Hi! Yes, may cr 😊 Very basic nga lang - toilet bowl, bucket and dipper. Not tiled. Bawal po sa maarte haha!
About the crowd, it tends to get crowded po talaga kapag weekend. We were just fortunate enough na we had a whole area reserved for our group kaya we had a relatively quiet time. With the crowd no’ng weekend na we were there, I think ma-enjoy niyo pa rin naman ang place. 😊 But of course, iba pa rin talaga if you have the place to yourselves lang, as we have experienced the first time we went there, which was on a weekday.
