Doctors are Special. Not because my father was a doctor, but they are really special. In any field there will be good and bad. Generally speaking, Doctors are God. I will write in a blog elaborately about this some time.. but for now.. on a lighter note to let you know why doctors are great....... A mechanic was removing a cylinder-head from the motor of a Dodge SRT-4 when he spotted a well-known cardiologist in his shop. The cardiologist was there waiting for the service manager to come take a look at his car when the mechanic shouted across the garage "Hey Doc, want to take a look at this?" The cardiologist, a bit surprised, walked over to where the mechanic was working on the SRT. The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked, "So Doc, look at this engine. You are right, Doctors in India needs to learn these human interactive aspect as well. Being a doctor, is not just treating patients like toy or machines, There must be personal relationship as well because they are dealing with humans. Patients must have rights to know what is happening to them and why they need such test and treatment. Patients must have rights and be able to decide if they can follow that doctors advice or go for second opinion too.

gopinath should not go for any treatment to the doctors.he or his family members should not go to doctors. if suppose he goes when he is ill.The doctors should not treat his illness. how he is going to face the doctors when he is ill.
I accept. We shouldn't scold the entire doctor race for the mistakes that a few does. But except in KGH and other big government hospitals, the rest are almost money-minded. Doctors of late 90's are good, so kind. I still know a doctor aged 65 whose charges are nominal and he goes for the exact treatment with less or zero tests. But do you think the present batch of doctors are like you ? If you think so, you are completely wrong. May be in your time, 1 or 2 % are money minded. But now 90% of the doctors are money minded. They wanted salaries equal to IT people. My friends, close aids, they started pursuing doctor. Their aim is to get into a big hospital where they will high salaries. They are not bothered about how they gonna earn it. They are so obsessed with money and MMBS that they forgot how pure people have to be in this field. Not every doctor is kind as you are in the present world. Even you should understand the fact.

Try to implement some changes out of this show too!!! Everyone - get 2 visits to family physicians to replace MHC.. tat costs less even if you have to travel to your hometown!!!
Dear Sir Dr. Bhakthavathsalam, Ram Ram I think you have not got the message given in this program telecasted recently about the medical care in India. We agree with you that Doctors are doing a noble job so as people in so many other profession too. The message in the program was about Medical Business and not about the noble services provided by the majority of the members of the medical community. Please accept the fact that there are bad apples in the medical community too as in any other profession. Me being in the profession my humble opinion is that the program was conducted in a fair manner by the anchor. I should congratulate Dr Rajkumar and the other two doctors who were seated with public for their openness and transparency. In my opinion us who are in medical services should not expect people to worship us as god but our behaviour and selfless service should make our patients to feel that way. Please watch the program again and analyse the content of it with an open mind. P.S
Dear Dr.Bhaktavatsalam, Please understand that Mr.Gopinath s show is about the likes of doctors who shell out 50 lakhs or more as capitation fees and then go about recovering the amount.The whole show was based on in puts from Times of India but that has been conveniantely forgotten.Health minister Dr.Harsh Vardhans comments on MCI is public knowledge.The Dr. on the show on corporate hospitals has clearly said doctors in corporate hospitals are management driven and not patient driven .The show was not about individual doctors but about the corporate culture in the hospital business .Vijay Kanth s film Ramana was about this .The film was re-made in Telegu,hindi and kannada why because the audience agreed with the theme If the public should have a better image of doctors it is up to them to work for it

nobody is making comment on the Doctor's Profession in that TV Show... the whole show is about Marketing and Management Driven business medical centers and Target based treatments.....Dr. Bakthavatshalam cannot talk on behalf of all doctors....may be he is true to his work but not all....medical mania is becoming an issue now....may be Dr. Bakthavathsalam should have addressed those Doctors who are doing mistakes...many of the Doctors in the show have admitted the ongoing faults in the medical world.....Here in this video he is trying to act like a God to save his fellow workers....this is not an educated persons approach...

Why Doctors alone overacting and blabbering as if they are GOD. This is not acceptable, all are doing work for lively hood, so dont talk smart as if you only who are noble creaters making wonders.
Hello Doctors (Gods :p), Please do know “Doctor" profession is not a Job its a “Service”. In this video I see some elderly doctor mentioning that he is doing a work/ job. If you are doing some work then this is what you will get from Public and "Neeya Naana" team. As mentioned in this video, Not only doctors do work without sleep or leave. I also see long trip bus drivers, Police men, Defence force men/ women and lot of other professions work as well. You guise are educated, don’t behave silly. You are not god (especially doctors in private hops) be matured learn to speak practically. If you don’t know what is happening out of your hospital or your own community I feel pretty for you but this is what happening and this is what public think of you.
Sir Shri Baktha, there are only 1 % of the doctors who are good and follows professional ethics I believe... Your statements seems to be more than realistic... I have been duped by the the doctors working in corporate hospitals 3 times in my 5 times experience... Nov 2013, Post pregnancy, my wife got abdominal pain later found to be liver infection... Stupid, scoundrel, money eater, non professional, unethical, etc, etc Doc Kanniyan, from Apollo, Tondiarpet, at the very first sight said to my wife who was suffering in pain that her liver was badly infected without even diagnosing properly... finally I had to come out of hospital fighting with that dog. The final result of blood test hepatitis A, B and all other stupid test are negative and revealed nothing... One simple doctor, the real doctor who put up his small clinic near my house solved her issue completely... So, I have a strong opinion that doctors are not God all doctors are not good! Most of them are blackmailers and money eaters!
Everythng was fine... but at the last the doctor was saying if any issue u can always go to a consumer court... for any other job, if they make a mistake we can go to consumer court and the loss met maybe in monetary means... but if a doc makes a serious mistake whats the use if life is gone or a body part is permanently damaged..will tht be compensated in a consumer court... So kindly accept the fact that doctors cannot afford to make mistakes...
doctors cannot afford to make mistakes... absolutely true - This is the main reason why doctors use the extra resources available (evidence based) in order to prevent any mistakes from happening, despite this, sometimes the mistakes does happen because they are also human beings...

Dr. Bakthavathsalam may be one out of the few, who is really a doctor and not a business man and we never failed to provide the due respect to them. When a student pays huge sum of money for the medical seat, think of the business that goes with it without saying.

ramkavi Ram, I'm not here to blame DR.bakthavathsalam or any other doctor who are truthful to their profession. As Mr.Bakthavathsalam said everybody is given an opportunity to serve others in this world, some way or the other. So there's no difference between a medical profession or any other profession. For me, my driver and my doctor both are life savers. I just don't want to give huge importance to doctors (next to god, we need to praise them etc., it just happened that they are serving humans for life, that's it) and justifing the irregularities happening in their field. Hope you understand.
ramkavi yes gpoinath is not dare to make show about politics and politicians because most of them are direct rowdies and he will face lots of problems but most of the doctors are decent peoples outside the hospital inside they have not patience towards patients especially for government doctors and private doctors mostly they talk very good to the patients due to higher pay from private hospitals. Even one of famous Stanley hospital in chennai is not very hygienic because only poor patients will come there. And I can remember when I brought my father for urgent for liver cirrhosis treatment from adayar cancer hospital to Stanley hispital they didn't accept to admit due to Saturday. We begged the staffs to admit and father I shouting in pain then they said if any doctor said we will admit, I saw doctor smoking near the hospital and when go request him to admit he talk very rudely and he saw my father moaning and shouting in pain he said it's not very emergency case go and come back monday. At that time what is my feeling I can't explain I'm on that much angry and burst out crying. Most of the doctors are seeing the patients as the body or object and they behave just as a maintenance engineer and treat body as a machine and never think the patients as a humans. Doctors loosing thier humanity and became just like professional business peoples. I have faced lots of incidents in my personal life but I don't want to write it here.

And no cure for many disease. but now the life time of a human is 70 to 80.this is because of al new investigations.india is the number one country in diabetic disease. Do u know that? so screening test for diabetic if patient is above 40 is must. but if the media has focused wrong information about investigation. People will not agree. so many wiil die without knowing that they have diabetic.intha BALAJI and HASIM ABDULLA ketkira matheeri muttal kelvi kettal. avan seekirama poisera vendiathu than.but am sorry for your dad.when am young a death happened in our relation. in that shock my dad attacted with some nerve problem. he was paralysed and he was admitted in a hospital but all investigation has been done but the disease couldn't findout.then he was shifted to KG hospital the one who is talking above.there my dads condition was critical but there he was diagnosed as GUILLEN BARE SYNDROM its a very rare disease 1 in 20000 people it occurs.tthe treatment is immunoglobins.it cost about 300000 for 5 days treatment in 1998. its bigmoney. that day was sunday to bring that medice. sunday was a big hurdle. but doctors tried and helped and saved my dad. at that time if we go on questioning why u do this investi etc. doctors will hesitate to do and treat our patient freely.so try to understand don't blame doctors.if you r interest to live long life have regular checkup.or else don't do anything. but don't talk rubbish as if u all know everything
Dr, you are out of reality. This problem arisen because there is a huge % of doctors are become full fledged business minded guys. That is the problem. Farmers life is pathetic.. no one recognize this profession, being looked down. They earn very less, many time in loss - depends on monsoon... have to work hard like a dog everyday. What you will eat if all the farmers stopped producing? Have you ever called them and praised? Did you "panivaaga vananginaaya" farmersa? Who hasn't work hard in today' world? Infact, millions of people work more harder than you for 1/10 th of material benefits you earn without any recognition. Please stop being naive. Doctors are already well respected ( to an extend that doctors become arrogant and behave rude / look down on others ), earn quite a lot ( and don't give bill, don't pay taxes - those who run clinics ). Please accept the fact that there are bad apples in the medical community too as in any other profession. Me being in the profession my humble opinion is that the program was conducted in a fair manner by the anchor. I should congratulate Dr Rajkumar and the other two doctors who were seated with public for their openness and transparency.
In my opinion us who are in medical services should not expect people to worship us as god but our behaviour and selfless service should make our patients to feel that way.
Please watch the program again and analyse the content of it with an open mind.

Please understand that Mr.Gopinath s show is about the likes of doctors who shell out 50 lakhs or more as capitation fees and then go about recovering the amount.The whole show was based on in puts from Times of India but that has been conveniantely forgotten.Health minister Dr.Harsh Vardhans comments on MCI is public knowledge.The Dr. on the show on corporate hospitals has clearly said doctors in corporate hospitals are management driven and not patient driven .The show was not about individual doctors but about the corporate culture in the hospital business .Vijay Kanth s film Ramana was about this .The film was re-made in Telegu,hindi and kannada why because the audience agreed with the theme

nobody is making comment on the Doctor's Profession in that TV Show... the whole show is about Marketing and Management Driven business medical centers and Target based treatments.....Dr. Bakthavatshalam cannot talk on behalf of all doctors....may be he is true to his work but not all....medical mania is becoming an issue now....may be Dr. Bakthavathsalam should have addressed those Doctors who are doing mistakes...many of the Doctors in the show have admitted the ongoing faults in the medical world.....Here in this video he is trying to act like a God to save his fellow workers....this is not an educated persons approach...

All profession are nobel, I accept. Gopinath is TV anchor and hosting relity show about the current occurance. He do his duty of criticising the occurance. Why Doctors alone overacting and blabbering as if they are GOD. This is not acceptable, all are doing work for lively hood, so dont talk smart as if you only who are noble creaters making wonders.
Hello Doctors (Gods :p), Please do know “Doctor" profession is not a Job its a “Service”. In this video I see some elderly doctor mentioning that he is doing a work/ job. If you are doing some work then this is what you will get from Public and "Neeya Naana" team. As mentioned in this video, Not only doctors do work without sleep or leave. I also see long trip bus drivers, Police men, Defence force men/ women and lot of other professions work as well. You guise are educated, don’t behave silly. You are not god (especially doctors in private hops) be matured learn to speak practically. If you don’t know what is happening out of your hospital or your own community I feel pretty for you but this is what happening and this is what public think of you.

I have been duped by the the doctors working in corporate hospitals 3 times in my 5 times experience...
Nov 2013, Post pregnancy, my wife got abdominal pain later found to be liver infection... Stupid, scoundrel, money eater, non professional, unethical, etc, etc Doc Kanniyan, from Apollo, Tondiarpet, at the very first sight said to my wife who was suffering in pain that her liver was badly infected without even diagnosing properly... finally I had to come out of hospital fighting with that dog. The final result of blood test hepatitis A, B and all other stupid test are negative and revealed nothing...
One simple doctor, the real doctor who put up his small clinic near my house solved her issue completely...
So, I have a strong opinion that doctors are not God all doctors are not good! Most of them are blackmailers and money eaters!

Everythng was fine... but at the last the doctor was saying if any issue u can always go to a consumer court... for any other job, if they make a mistake we can go to consumer court and the loss met maybe in monetary means... but if a doc makes a serious mistake whats the use if life is gone or a body part is permanently damaged..will tht be compensated in a consumer court... So kindly accept the fact that doctors cannot afford to make mistakes...
doctors cannot afford to make mistakes... absolutely true - This is the main reason why doctors use the extra resources available (evidence based) in order to prevent any mistakes from happening, despite this, sometimes the mistakes does happen because they are also human beings...

Is he trying to inject god fear. If everything goes fine, why the hell this issue has come up. Dr. Bakthavathsalam may be one out of the few, who is really a doctor and not a business man and we never failed to provide the due respect to them. When a student pays huge sum of money for the medical seat, think of the business that goes with it without saying.

ramkavi Ram, I'm not here to blame DR.bakthavathsalam or any other doctor who are truthful to their profession. As Mr.Bakthavathsalam said everybody is given an opportunity to serve others in this world, some way or the other. So there's no difference between a medical profession or any other profession. For me, my driver and my doctor both are life savers. I just don't want to give huge importance to doctors (next to god, we need to praise them etc., it just happened that they are serving humans for life, that's it) and justifing the irregularities happening in their field. Hope you understand.
ramkavi yes gpoinath is not dare to make show about politics and politicians because most of them are direct rowdies and he will face lots of problems but most of the doctors are decent peoples outside the hospital inside they have not patience towards patients especially for government doctors and private doctors mostly they talk very good to the patients due to higher pay from private hospitals. Even one of famous Stanley hospital in chennai is not very hygienic because only poor patients will come there. And I can remember when I brought my father for urgent for liver cirrhosis treatment from adayar cancer hospital to Stanley hispital they didn't accept to admit due to Saturday. We begged the staffs to admit and father I shouting in pain then they said if any doctor said we will admit, I saw doctor smoking near the hospital and when go request him to admit he talk very rudely and he saw my father moaning and shouting in pain he said it's not very emergency case go and come back monday. At that time what is my feeling I can't explain I'm on that much angry and burst out crying. Most of the doctors are seeing the patients as the body or object and they behave just as a maintenance engineer and treat body as a machine and never think the patients as a humans. Doctors loosing thier humanity and became just like professional business peoples. I have faced lots of incidents in my personal life but I don't want to write it here.
Krishnakumar Purushothaman some were some mistakes are going.y should the media giving wrong information about investigation.earlier the life period of a human is 50 to 60.because those days most of the disease cannot be ruled out without investigation. And no cure for many disease. but now the life time of a human is 70 to 80.this is because of al new investigations.india is the number one country in diabetic disease. Do u know that? so screening test for diabetic if patient is above 40 is must. but if the media has focused wrong information about investigation. People will not agree. so many wiil die without knowing that they have diabetic.intha BALAJI and HASIM ABDULLA ketkira matheeri muttal kelvi kettal. avan seekirama poisera vendiathu than.but am sorry for your dad.when am young a death happened in our relation. in that shock my dad attacted with some nerve problem. he was paralysed and he was admitted in a hospital but all investigation has been done but the disease couldn't findout.then he was shifted to KG hospital the one who is talking above.there my dads condition was critical but there he was diagnosed as GUILLEN BARE SYNDROM its a very rare disease 1 in 20000 people it occurs.tthe treatment is immunoglobins.it cost about 300000 for 5 days treatment in 1998. its bigmoney. that day was sunday to bring that medice. sunday was a big hurdle. but doctors tried and helped and saved my dad. at that time if we go on questioning why u do this investi etc. doctors will hesitate to do and treat our patient freely.so try to understand don't blame doctors.if you r interest to live long life have regular checkup.or else don't do anything. but don't talk rubbish as if u all know everything

Farmers life is pathetic.. no one recognize this profession, being looked down. They earn very less, many time in loss - depends on monsoon... have to work hard like a dog everyday. What you will eat if all the farmers stopped producing? Have you ever called them and praised? Did you "panivaaga vananginaaya" farmersa? Who hasn't work hard in today' world? Infact, millions of people work more harder than you for 1/10 th of material benefits you earn without any recognition. Please stop being naive. Doctors are already well respected ( to an extend that doctors become arrogant and behave rude / look down on others ), earn quite a lot ( and don't give bill, don't pay taxes - those who run clinics ).
