I've been keeping an eye on this car ever since it arrived into your hands. You took on a mammoth of a task, literally, and Jared was an invaluable workhorse, and inspiration throughout the build. It's marvellous how you've managed to give this beauty, a new lease of life. If I wasn't in the UK, I would most definitely be putting in a bid to own this delightful beast...

It's absolutely amazing! How can someone mount that engine without "reading the instructions" ,with all those components. It's incredible the amount of knowledge Jared has. I envy him for knowing so much stuff.

Classic Tavarish - spent 1+ year rebuilding a car and sum it up all in 1 video (instead of dragging it on in 10+ episodes). Literally the only youtube re-builder to do this. Big love!

was actually going to post this until I saw your post, that is some funny shit
The new owners weren't pleased so SHE didn't win the election
Fantastic effort, looks so good. I did a factory of the production line approximately when this was built. The level of detailing that goes into the veneer dashboard is incredible. Recall the leather hides piled up ready for computer scan looking for imperfections (they bought them from a country that doesnt use barbed wire) and were told the rejects were sent to Jaguar. The production line was amazingly clean, recall they use the biggest brake disks (rotors) ive ever seen. The guys on the production line had about 50 seconds (approx) to join the engine/transmission to the body! ( the body was prepainted in Germany and shipped to Crewe) - great to see it restored
With a workshop like that behind you it takes the fright out of owning and running a car like this.

Finally! I've been waiting forever to see this fixed. It looks and sounds awesome! Did you replace the plastic brake lines with metal? I recall that's one weakness with early Continentals: plastic lines that break and the only way to fix is drop the engine.

For your consideration, I offer my wife's 2013 Rolls Phantom Coupé in Arabian Blue. Totaled by flood damage it was $65k delivered, but after $60k in repairs, and 9 months waiting for parts, you'd never know it. $125k for a Phantom is money well spent, IMO. It's the most comfortable car I've ever sat in, and pretty fun to drive too. Plus it's built like a Sherman tank (and weighs nearly as much as one).

The more I watch this channel the more I start to respect the work of mechanics. I couldn’t imagine being able to take a whole engine and transmission out and messing with it. Especially with so many parts I wouldn’t know where to start or what goes where😭

There is the rear fender bulge behind the driver's door. The paint line reflections looked pretty straight. I did notice no driver's door pictures on the advertisement...
There's no dent on the door. I know there's a warp on the reflection at one point but when he goes to the rear left quarter view of the car, you can see the surface is smooth
