hey i agree with your comment 100% but let me just tell you something - there's never need for MR removed because it's just pure bullshit (pardon my language). look up phase cancellation. the basic logic behind these videos is that alternating the studio version to be out of phase "just right" should cancel the backing track and leave the vocals right? well, no. phase cancellation acts across the whole mix, not just the bits you want it to act on. so paradoxically, the more true to the original recording the live is, the more likely will phase-cancelling software cancel a big chunk of your voice out almost completely.
