St Austell A391 to A30 Link Road Update May 2024

Another update of the construction progress of the new A30 Victoria to St Austell Link Road project.
Despite the very poor weather and all numerous storms that we have been having the past few months, during the dry spells there is significant progress being made , although the construction finish date is 2025, but it could be anytime during 2025 when hopefully the road project will be completed.
The construction comprises of 3 new roundabouts, two over bridges, various culverts and a bridal way / equestrian / Cycle path that will run along most of the existing and new route of the new link road. Re-alignment of the Singlerose roundabout at Stenalees and closure of the old Roche road and a new access road for residents only, and the old B3274 route being down graded into cycle way and bridal way between Roche and Stenalees.

Hi ,thanks for this video ,it looks fascinating ,amazing to see it from an Ariel view, we are travelling down in September to Whitemoor , any advice on a route from the A30 would be most appreciated,loved watching this ,this will have been a difficult time for locals , hopefully the disruption will be worth it to keep heavy traffic out of the small villages as they pass through ,many thanks 😊

Significant progress (?) at around @10:00 you can see the “single” truck taking the mountain of spoil away to the road levelling machines further down, where the “other” truck that has tipped is thinking about going back up for another load.
Watched the same in the South of France in the 70’s when they constructed the nice airport into the sea and there were “dozens” of the same trucks not 2.
