This should be shown in all schools, that way kid's don't have to ask they can just go. Teacher's are ruining children's bladders which needs to stop.

That’s why I’m here, when I was in elementary school the teachers wouldn’t let us go to the bathroom, so I would hold it from 7:30-3:30 or longer EVERY SINGLE DAY for 6 years and now I’m in middle school and (TMI) It’s hard for me to pee

I have been holding my pee for 10 hours throughout high school and felt my bladder was about to explode but still hold it because I'm busy and stressed and it feels so good but eventually have to release my urine because I have no choice. I guess I don't know any better until I came upon this info

I don’t think it’s abnormal if it happens occasionally but if you never have to pee waking up that’s a red flag
The entire morning 7:40-8:15 I can go and I can go at 9:15-9:20 and 10:05-10:15 and 11:30-12:00 then some random times in afternoon Monday,Tuesday and Thursday which is nice ig
I can go at 7:00 - 7: 45, then for the rest of school I am not allowed so I just sneak of to the bathroom and go.

Which is why as a teacher if one of the kids say they need to use the restroom I let them. Plus it encourages bad batrhoom habits and anxieties around bathrooms if you shame them or make them hold it for an excessive amount of time

Doctor l have a question:Today l hold my urine too much then l felled that the my urine coming to my underpants and l rushed to the toiled.Then l tried to pee but someting white like pudding came out l was so scared and now to the end of the day l pee rarely yesterday l was peening every 15 minutes now l pee every 3 hours.Im so scared is there anyting to be worry or it will be turn back to normal

I have one question, my son would hold his urine during secondary school and only started using the toilet properly (4-5 times a day) in the past 2 years since he realised the dangerous affects of doing so. My school gives 6 bathroom passes for each quarter which is two months and I think that is very bad because students shouldn’t need bathroom passes or permission to use the bathroom because one time I actually peed my pants because I had no more bathroom passes

How do I know when it’s appropriate to go to the toilet? I feel like I either go too early or hold it in too long…
I usually tell my patients to find a happy medium. If only a little bit is coming out, next time try to hold your urine in for a little longer. Also I’ve recommended pelvic therapy which is helpful in strengthening that area.
