(This happened a month ago) I was in my bed and heard tapping in the corridor. I was the only one awake. I thought oh well it’s my dogs claws tapping around. But next to me I felt my dog. I waited for the tapping to go. It lasted 5-15 minutes. When it was gone I went out and woke up everybody. The window was fully open. We didn’t have it like that. We called the police but they just said it was an animal. Probably the scariest moment of my life.

A few years ago I was working in our office overnight, I was alone in the 15th floor and half of the floor was dark. I had my headphones on with loud music working on a desktop computer. Around midnight I noticed something moving in my peripheral vision. It was something in white. I didn’t want to look at it and just continued working. I noticed that it was slowly walking towards me. I was petrified and I couldn’t even stand and run away. I just fixed my eyes on the computer. And then there it was. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t even scream. I got the courage to slowly turn my head and see what it was. It was the security guard making rounds, checking up on me. True story.
The best part is how you’re describing your inner world while preparing to turn and face reality. I felt like I just watched the intro to a SCRUBS Halloween special and JD was monologuing.🤣

A long time ago when I was young and was in my bed. It was late and I was still awake. I happen to look at my brother and saw something under his bed. It looked like a pale face hidden in the darkness with deep dull red eyes. It was just staring at me. I remember bringing my covers up to my chin and almost not breathing because I was so scared it would hear me. I sat there for what seemed like hours, sweating bullets. But I fell asleep. I've told people, but no one believes me. To this day I can't remember if it was a dream, and I'm terrified it might come back. Literally about to cry remembering how scared I was. Still scared.
I actually experienced something VERY similar. When I was little (6-7) I was sleeping with my dad once, and his bed had this weird very long cabinet just over it. The space between the top of the cabinet and the ceiling is about 75 cm (30 inches). There is a bedside table with one of those 7 segment display clocks that glow bright red in the dark. I wake up in the middle of the night, and I look up. Guess what I see staring at me from the cabinet? A goblin-like face, with glowing yellow eyes, that was slowly coming towards me, but hid on top of the cabinet when I opened my eyes. I didn't scream, didn't jump, didn't do anything, and when I looked at the clock it said 4:00 (4am). It didn't show itself anymore, but I was still staring at the ceiling for like 1 and a half hours. I told my dad about it and he took the cabinet down. To this day I still don't know what that was. It felt way too real to be a dream, maybe it was sleep paralysis, since I didn't scream, because I remember screaming and getting scared very easily.

A long time ago when I was young and was in my bed. It was late and I was still awake. I happen to look at my brother and saw something under his bed. It looked like a pale face hidden in the darkness with deep dull red eyes. It was just staring at me. I remember bringing my covers up to my chin and almost not breathing because I was so scared it would hear me. I sat there for what seemed like hours, sweating bullets. But I fell asleep. I've told people, but no one believes me. To this day I can't remember if it was a dream, and I'm terrified it might come back. Literally about to cry remembering how scared I was. Still scared.
I actually experienced something VERY similar. When I was little (6-7) I was sleeping with my dad once, and his bed had this weird very long cabinet just over it. The space between the top of the cabinet and the ceiling is about 75 cm (30 inches). There is a bedside table with one of those 7 segment display clocks that glow bright red in the dark.
I wake up in the middle of the night, and I look up. Guess what I see staring at me from the cabinet? A goblin-like face, with glowing yellow eyes, that was slowly coming towards me, but hid on top of the cabinet when I opened my eyes. I didn't scream, didn't jump, didn't do anything, and when I looked at the clock it said 4:00 (4am). It didn't show itself anymore, but I was still staring at the ceiling for like 1 and a half hours. I told my dad about it and he took the cabinet down.
To this day I still don't know what that was. It felt way too real to be a dream, maybe it was sleep paralysis, since I didn't scream, because I remember screaming and getting scared very easily.
I love playing this at around 12am to 4am in the woods always a new location
