I dont want to be that guy but might guy wasnt the strongest taijutsu. Han who is a jinchruki had a steam thingy on hes back and he was able to bring his charkra to almost a boiling point, making him being able to use taijutsu wich is same level as guy without dying to it.

Guy was a bigger underdog character than Naruto with tons of inspiration around him, he just didn't have enough screen time to be a bigger inspiration than Naruto towards achieving his dream. In the end we watched Naruto fight for 700 episodes to achieve his dream, while Guy had no more than 10-15 episodes of screen time.
