Even after 6 years of sim racing in VR, it still gives me that "wow" feeling fairly often from how good the immersion is. My favorite is when it's overcast and the sun suddenly comes out from behind the clouds. I could swear I can feel the warmth of it on my skin, even though I'm actually sitting in my basement. I'm just getting back into AMS2 after a long break when my old PC was struggling too much to run it in VR. My new PC has no issues. With the new physics, new FFB, and the graphics settings cranked up, it's like a whole new game.
Driving open wheelers feels unsafe, as if I should be belted in the immersion is so good. So I added a set of belts to my rig. More immersion equals more fun 👍
I've been driving the Radical SR3 around this track for a few days and it's so much fun. Very bumpy and a great work out too. Yes it's a PC2 track, but who cares. It's a great track. Thanks for sharing.
Damn, A racing game that actually has a sensation of speed! So few sims manage the 'shake' well (i'm looking at you Gran Turismo). Kind of reminds me of the original GRID - still my favourite arcade racer for that sheer sense of excitement.
Not really a sim but what about Forza lol? They claim that it's the most exciting experience ever, yet still up to Horizon 5 the sense of speed hasn't been the same since Motorsport 4.
Nice! What VR headset you using there? Also how did you get mods in AM2? I only just got it myself a few days ago after 10 year hiatus from sim racing (last time being rf2) and it's a blast. Feels a bit like rf2 to me from memory too.
I have the reverb g2. Google search “ams2 content manager” And that will link you to the installer, which will lead on to mods etc. Its a simple process
Go to ‘project cars modding team’ website, before you do anything, read all the instructions first. It’s a simple process, if you read the instructions. Many don’t read and then wonder why they can’t get things working properly.
@@Picks_Productions yeah its a mod. Which is a shame. Would be much better to have it in AMS2. I never use mods. But i have pCars2 still installed for its great tracks and road cars. Ferarri challenge cars are so awesome on this track.
It's different. Not every aspect feels better, but some things do like Ai and the developers really fine tune each car, which makes it very enjoyable to jump in any car.
@@everythinggaming7938 tracks can be found at “project cars modding team” website. Search on CZcams for “Thunderflash” for cars, VRC have a cpl of cars for AMS2, and “Kaos modding” has cars too. There is a program for installing the mods which is called “content manager” and that can be found on race department.

@@rafaellima1181 yes bro everything is amazing now
@@rafaellima1181nah, gt3 still feel bad. Huge improvement on open wheelers tho
@@kiiro712 Yep gt3's still slidey but i think they have a good base to improve.
Bannockbrae was one of my favourite tracks in PC2. Will give this a shot in AMS2 shortly here :) Thanks for Video!!

It's super good, my new go to sim...
Nice video brother. Reminds me of PJC2!
It uses the same game engine
Damn, i wish this came to consoles. Looks like PC2 but better
The game needs Tracks. Classic tracks and ALL the current F1 Tracks . That would make it No 1 racing sim
is this a track conversion from PC2?
Bloody hooligans, in your fancy modded cars, disturbing all the sheep!
😅😍👍
Ye, especially when u cant finish race on Brands Hatch Indy with Volkswagen Golf GTS because of severe damage bug during braking xD

Looks like i've got something to do when I get home from work tonight 😌
