i am an artflow user i have some questions
why every arist fillup his whole character in to grey before colouring it? whts the purpose of it nd why its necessary?
and why artflow texture doesent looks like photoshop or procreate
why art flow textures are flat as simple
and is there any brushes available like procreate in artflow?

Hey Sameer! You don't have to fill your character silhouette in grey or another color as part of your process.. but it does come with a few benefits. First it makes you aware of any blank areas you may have forgotten to add color to, you can also alpha lock or add clipping masks to make coloring faster and finally some artists find it helpful for tonal control of their colors and shading when they start with a neutral grey color.
Regarding your question for Artflow, you have to keep in mind Artflow is developed by a small team in comparison to Procreate. They are very different apps and drawing experiences. Artflow does allow you to add texture to your brushes but the options are limited. Also you can't import brushes from Photoshop, Clip Studio or Procreate directly into Artflow. Instead you have to recreate those brushes in Artflow's brush creator.
I hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
