Lot of money for very little difference. Removing the CAT will make the most significant difference but then comes the need for a larger muffler (more than a slip-on can quiet the sound) and the ECU tuning for it.
@@Mr.X-bikes I currently own a Tracer 900GT which I absolutely love but I will interested to take a GSX S1000GX for a test ride when they are released later in the year in Australia. I have heard owners of the GSX S1000GT have got 20hp gains from fitting a full exhaust and tune so if I buy a GX I would be very interested in doing the same.
@@donnyazoff980 Yes the engine has stock more than the 152hp. I've measured a lot of these engines, almost all of them have 160+ Remap with cat delete will also make 10+ Combination power in mid/high range and intake sound is great!
Since 2021, Suzuki changed throttle bodies and cams, reducing peak power by about 10 hp (GT, S1000, and GX are all affected). Yay for emissions regs. 🙄 Because we all know in the early 2000's Euro 2 or 3 didn't destroy the entire earth, but now in 2024 the earth will be destroyed if we don't enforce Euro 5 or 6. 🤮 Before you know it, Suzuki will have to put a 1600cc engine in this bike that makes 110 horsepower, and catalyzer the size of cow underneath. Why the slow emissions regulation increases? Because they know society would refuse to quit using engines immediately, so they get everyone used to losing freedom over 10 years or 20 years instead, with the same result anyway, but the regulators are so much more wealthy and powerful going the slow route instead of banning overnight.
The ride is awesome. Superbike performance, touring comfort and superb handling. I'm selling my GSX-R1000RA (last model) for this. Also the electronic suspension works wonderful.
Dat gaat denk ik niet zonder het aanpassen/vervangen van rearset. Je kan hem niet "omdraaien". De Quickshifter zit op de uitgaande as van de versnellingsbak. Allemaal exact hetzelfde als bij de GSX-S1000 en de GT.
Hi, this is the (same) exhaust for the GSX-S1000/950. So the approval number is mentioning the 950/1000 and 1000GT model. And not the GX, but it is the same and will fit.

Yes I think so, but here in the Netherlands the police is hunting for loud bikes. Have to say, stock exhaust sounds really good.

Screw the exhaust... swap out the chain and sprockets for more torque. Flash the ECU and remove all the restrictions and this bike opens up.
