The Hidden Blade (without Amnra's wheel)

I tried to make the hidden blade out of paper but the glue that I was using wasn't strong enough, and I didn't want it to be a long project.
As mentioned in the video, this Hidden Blade is based on RAWICE511's Hidden Blade.

I think this is actually a greatest hidden blade, it's movement is very like in AC game, just pulling the ring out to make it comes out and just relaxing your hand to make it comes in :>>>> Beautiful !!
I abandoned my hidden blade project years ago. The only thing missing is the top cover and a wheel mechanism and string coz I got too lazy to make them. I'm glad I saw this so I might continue on my project

I made a simpler version of this where the string is attached directly to the blade and flicking your wrist pulls it out, the blade was attached to some rubber bands so relaxing your wrist retracted the blade. The only problem was the blade length corresponded to your wrist flick distance, so if you had small hands, a big blade would not go out all the way.

it was very smart connecting directly to the slider. i'm having problmes with the wheel
Though the blade isn’t sharpe,It's mechanism is awesome..
Try to use some solid boards or strong papers to make the hidden blade more standard...

I had the same Idea except that The elastic power is at the center instead of the side to reduce the bulk and makes it more concealable
That's actually the way standard dual action OTF blades work, with springs atop the sled that pushes back the latches, you can reduce width this way at the cost of thickness depending on your crafting ability.

Nice Design! Now if you have time, please check out my muscle Activated dual action hidden blade I made! It is just wood and it is roughly a centimeter thick!

The design was amazing dude! I also had a very basic idea like this but you really perfected it. I'm not so sure about the longevity of this approach. Is it as reliable as the wheel design is supposed to be?
Yea, but you have to keep pulling the string to keep the blade out.

Tension in rubber bands are too weak for the weight of a metal blade.

Isnt it hard to pull the system using your finger ? There are two elastic force to overcome
Not really, only if you have it out for long. But I don't see why you wouldn't want to get the job done quick and quiet ;)

nice ....im more concerned about your finger if it would get tiered when triggering the blade for a long time
erklid 28 if your opening it and closing it constant enough for your finger to get tired you've got an issue

When I swich the wooden blade to iron it van be work or the iron to hard for this design?

is the slot in the middle of the blade necessary for it to work?
There's different designs that don't really include the slot. But they all work with the same principles

Well, you have to keep your hand extended to keep the blade extended, so it's kinda not the greatest. Good job nonetheless
Sucks i could build this out of everything when your hand is down it Goes back and when you hand is up it shoots not like Real dual action sucks

Can you give me ur blue print of it? the blade was flawless it's simple but efficient the size was good to hide weapon the others was too big or I mean bulky. I have seen many but this is one of best just needed hardend by diff. material and it seem need to br honed more but trully magnificient xD
