Big lights are great for big spaces along with lower iso and closed down iris/higher shutter speeds/high frame rates. Especially when balancing a sunlit window in frame and bringing room level up to be within a few stops.
60W LED light is more than enough for the average CZcamsr, especially if you aren’t competing with the sun.
Slo-mo requires a faster shutter speed/read out speed, hence less light; no way around it

Regarding lights, it’s all about whether you want to be able to overpower the ambient light. 60W is probably too little output to control the light while filming during the day, even inside. Especially when you start attaching diffusers.
This is for youtube videos in a studio.
@@cameraconspiracies Yes, I know. I am writing about the same thing. 60W with diffusers is too little output to contend with sunny ambient conditions.
Amaran 60D with its hyper reflector and diffuser it comes with will compete with the sun window light inside. If you don’t have sun, that 60W light will need to be turned way down or else you’ll need an ND.
Outside, absolutely not, unless you’re in the shade. It’s pretty damn bright for a 60W, and it’s ALL in the hyper reflector design. The Hyper reflector it comes with is even brighter than if you put the Aperture 2X Fresnel on it.

I've been vlogging with a GoPro 12 since October. It's small and convenient. With the media mod and wireless mic (I know, don't start ☢), the sound quality is good. It's just a bit too wide sometimes, and IQ is crap in low light. I don't want to spend more money on a DJI Pocket 3 but that might actually be the best option. I'll think on it a bit.

I don't know maybe I had shit lights from China but my 60, 70W lights on 100% were not enough for portrait photography.
Yeah they’re not. That’s why flashes are more useful for photography, they’re much more powerful. If using continuous lights, 200w or 300w are still not enough to put power the sun if shooting outside, I’ve used them for studio photography and still can’t use base ISO
@@MattJacobs I have found some 150W and 200W continuous COB lights to be good for Boudoir photography in Studios, but most of them are not putting out enough power to be able to retian the skin texture. I love sharp images where the eye and the skin texture is visible.
Once I used in a Studio one 150W light and it put out power like a 300W light.. I was looking for it on the internet and it is no more available. I wonder why. What I noticed is that newer lights don't put out the power what is written on them.
Neewer has a 70W light that is more powerful than 70W, but that is it.
@@MattJacobs I’ll add that a 200W COB is barely even enough to overpower ambient light on the inside with sunny windowlight coming in. Especially with diffusers. On too of that the practical output also changes on the colour temperature of the light.
So yeah, 60W is really only usable in closed studio situations.

I got a bunch of those action cameras and they used to have HDMI out, but that's a specific technology. It's in oscilloscope, onkyo, denon, and the Souundblaster RX Z lite paperwork. The other key features in a dumpster smash at towny is infrared. You just had to bust the windows off the heavy pig sloth, or anything and it could show a huge fire. But lacking these 15$ bucks features, did you know they use 4v 100uF capacitors? Got one stuck in my teath. Must have cost 9$ bucks for the entire production run. No compromises 8bit 8k. 4 lane serial is mipi and i2c is acoustic, but it's worse because you get cross talk, so maranze was a big deal, even a stereo microchip was like a huge dumpster 64 pin thing. The reason is electrons are really small, but they acceleration is c^4. So I feel alot is lost nowadays in junior colleges. If you build a monopole, at a network 25lbs, the field rearrange to conform to the alloy. So at short distance, this is why a video card is all about gay dudes, they act "gently" on information, everything is a Mercedes champaign butt watching.

When you're making this many videos how do you cope with admin tasks like backing up, indexing, searching for old videos? I think Marques said he deletes all footage after finishing a video apart from the actual video.
if you had to chose between a fuji xs20, a (future) sony zve-10 mark ii and a canon r10, for youtube video (programming tutorial and devlog I'm making on my channel) and a bit of wildlife and portrait photography, with a budget of roughly 1800euros (lens included) which one would you pick? I'm leaning on fuji xs20 with the 18-55mm but ain't sure the autofocus will be good enough for indoor video. Thanks man! :)
Fuji will easily stick with indoor eye tracked auto focus. The x trans 5 processor is great on the xs20

My Olympus omd1 3 seems to have a hardware problem and they won't fix or replace it for free. I don't care if it's old or out of warranty. It's a defect. Come on Olympus
IPhone 15 pro with DJI gimble vs DJI Pocket 3, thoughts? The gimble is cheaper than the Pocket 3, and I already have an iPhone.
The DJI has a 1 inch sensor. I'd go with it over a phone.
The guy on the street corner was shaking his head and laughing at you. If you can afford a powerful light there's no shame in it. It's useful to have more power because diffusion soaks up a lot of light and if you need to move the light further away or battle against the sun you need it. But yes 15% is common for normal controlled single person closeup.

I highly recommend you borrow a Z6 from someone and try out the 120p. It's 1080p, it's 8bit, but looks better than most 4k 10bit slomo, uses the full sensor readout, and as long as you slightly overexpose it, is amazingly clean.

Panasonic's new firmware will allow you to record proxies to your second SD card so you won't have to create your proxy in Davinci Resolve. That would solve your problems, just saying.
Does anyone know how to program an Olympus EM10-IV so that the 14-42 EZ lens can be adjusted with the arrow keys on the back of the camera body?
