A bit worried about the pink part falling off or prone to make you trip, unbalance or bend your ankles, as it makes a perma raised sole for a few mm in uneven areas and the material is more rigid than say, mochi, foam or polyfilled pawpads. Strongly suggest carving the blue mat and inserting the cutout pawpad in it or maybe use wall vinyl for the pawpad area instead. Have fun fursuiting!

The fatigue/play matts are pretty good. At the Dollar tree, they have these car floor mats that are a woven like material that wears pretty well. Also, for comfort, you can glue sheets of cork down first... made for a very comfortable walk. Over time the cork compresses in all the right places over time to fit your foot well.
Hi I love you your feet paws!! I personally use the blue Dow rigid insulation foam boards 1”. And 3m spray glue super 90 in green aerosol can. It works on foam and fur! By the way the blue rigid foam is high density rigid polystyrene so it’s super dense. A big plus is that it’s also fire proof and will turn itself off or self extinguish in the event of fire. Oh yea did i mention it will keep your feet warm in snow, I know yoga mats are garbage when it comes to insulating. Keep on fur’n ❤🦊🐰🐼🐻

It would be cool to make some spooky flip flops that leave weird trails on the beach or in sand or something to mess with people I’ve seen a some before i don’t remember if it was real or in a movie but I always thought it was a funny idea Edit: idk if it was my uncle messing with us or real but there were like size 16 shoe prints left on his property one time and stuff would randomly move from where me and my cousins would put it he always acted like it was real then there was a story where he went out one night and almost caught the person doing it so it really freaked us out but then again I don’t know if he was telling the truth or trying to scare us
you could try using little hot glue dots that have been very very roughly sanded so they add friction and you can reapply as needed (discovered this trying to make a cheap floor mat stay put lol)

Why use play mats (2 pound foram) and not go for something denser like 4 or 6 pound foam? (I wish i could show a example of what im talking about). Would plasti dip spray or bed linear (the roll kind) be a bad idea for the outside on the bottom to help with water resistance and grip? Also when gluing the foam I would use alot DAP contact cement then press them down on boards with weights each layer at a time for a few hours. I wonder if that would work in your application
