One of the best episodes. Never knew what Prue was dressed as until I looked it up. She’s an earth witch. It been fan-theorized that Phoebe is responsible for the flying broomstick 🧹cliché. Too bad when they returned in the end, they didn’t tell the entire witch community. Also believed that witches could only do that once a year on Halloween, which sucks.
I always hated what the show did with Cole. There was good in him and he tried so hard to change out of love for Phoebe, but they just had to make him out to be irredeemable and beyond hope.
@@ReiKoko Many fans, who supported Cole and Phoebe as a couple were disappointed how the writers ruined Cole’s character during Season 5. Even Alyssa Milano, prefers Phoebe to be with Cole in regard to all the men Phoebe had dated, slept with, and married throughout the show.
@@ReiKoko Cole actually never wanted to kill The Charmed Ones, because other warlocks and demons had their own agendas on why they went after the sisters in each episodes. Cole took the assignment from the Triads, because he wanted his father’s soul back. In the episode, Bride and Gloom Cole sensed Phoebe was turning evil when she tried to seduce him in her bedroom where he did not want to give in to the temptation and seduction. Importantly, Cole said demons and warlocks couldn’t love anyone, because they only want instant gratification of lusting after others. This proves, Cole was willing to give up being fully evil to be with Phoebe and be an alley to The Charmed Ones.
I love how Prue Piper & Phoebe are sent to back in time to 1670 to save Charlotte & I like that prue dressed up like a Nature witch & Piper dressed up like glinda the good witch & Phoebe dressed up like Elvira mistress of the dark on Halloween & I'm glad that the halliwell sisters celebrate Halloween in charmed seasons 3 & 8
Yup! Another excellent episode in a long block of outstanding episodes from season 3. I think Shannen said she didn't like kissing scenes which is why Prue never had long love interests. Would have been nice to see Prue and modern day Micah go on a few dates..." Eternally Elvira...ugh"
@pauldesigncomics2625 yes. You can kind of see her trying to avoid giving off lascivious vibes on the " COOOOLE" scene I think . It's obvious in the western episode. It must have been hard for Julian when she left. I always think of how Alyssa liked him too( tongue).Must have been wierd all around .
@@juju-zr5dp wait so thats why shannen and julian had so much chemistry on show because they dated in real life? wow mind blown and i always wanted those 2 together instead pheobe and cole
Yea the intention was there. It's like towards season 3 when she slightly started to nod with her freezing. I think if they really played around Piper could freeze without any gesture.
Omg I need to rewatch because I do not know this episode. I didn’t watch season one. I started when pure died 😢. I love Page or is it paig. Idek lol. 😊
@@draeblack5665 XD OMG the shade. Daryl was useful he kept the cops and other humans off the girls backs. Sure he didn't do much demon fighting but dudes a human you couldn't really expect him to fight demons all the time.
@aaronwinrock8164 I was being shady he did help keep the cops a bay and help where he could...........until the end where where he treated the girls like they were responsible for him almost dying and turned his back on his friends who save the world. I mean come on man, you are a black cop in a major city. Almost dying is a part of the job. Plus, the girls who aren't cops or trained die every week. I mean, grow a pair, man. I don't like Daryl, sorry not sorry
It must be the outfit that makes Phoebe so out of character; normally, she'd be understanding of Glinda and the fact that Dorothy had some growing and developing to do.
@@davidcrazyrides No, the movie just changed things up. Movies tend to do that sort of thing. But that was nothing compared to the stage musical that Baum himself helped to create. Would you believe Dorothy with a cow for a pet, rather than a dog? ;-)
@@davidcrazyrides The musical isn't often revived, so practically no-one has seen it in ages, though it was a huge success that played for most of the first decade of the 20th century; Fred Stone, who played the Scarecrow, was a major influence on the career of Ray Bolger. Dorothy didn't have to carry Imogene; Imogene got about very well on her own. 🙂

Fan-theorized? It's literally said in the episode.
Cole showing compassion for the child dressed up as a ninja, he didn’t want the Grimlocks to kill him.

"Witch's holiday," my clavicle! The event we know as Halloween began as a harvest festival.
Piper freezing the Grimlocks through the wand is a remarkable moment!
One of my favorite episodes!!!❤❤❤
Why doesn't this show the part where Prue sent the Grimlocks flying into the living room??????
They cut out the TK throw 😂
