In my opinion, The reason Martin got his head violently opened up because he probably had a change of heart in the middle of the game and “they” weren’t having it. He already signed his contract in blood. Then again, it was probably the plan the entire time to break the spirits of his naive followers. To Create hopelessness and despair. Tragic. This is why we shouldn’t praise mankind.
My Dad was a truck driver in the 50’s and he couldn’t stand the atmosphere that King created in the South. He felt that if we created what we needed in our own community, and we did , why would we beg others for inclusion???
As much as Jim Crow and segregation needed to go, I believe that upper class and middle class blacks exiting black-segregated areas was partly responsible for the rise of hood and ghetto culture. There were no more examples to see of what could be achieved. Also the spotlight on negative behaviors by media and entertainment gives bad example.
I like MALCOLM X better because he wasn’t focused on being a celebrity. MLK started off great then he became a CELEBRITY 😮

When I was in school in the 70s, a teacher talked about MLK's Communist ties and positive quotes about Communism - at the time, I didn't believe it.
The first Uncle Tom is one of my favorite movies, So I cannot wait to buy part 2. This Conversation was great and I did not know all of that stuff about Martin Luther King.
I can't believe I've never heard of this man. He said so many insightful things. He was an amazing guest. I'll have to go check him out.

When does JLP "talk down" to anyone? That just doesn't happen.
I believe I said "take down" although they pretty much do it to themselves when they respond with indignation instead of reason. Jesse treats them with more Christian love then they return, even when they claim to be pastors. Thanks for your comment, I'm glad he has you in his corner. God bless.

What I disagree with is every black and white loving one another in the 50's and 60's. That is not true. There were a significant number of white people that were bigots in that era. I live in Alabama so I know its true for a FACT! Every time I'm with someone around that age I tend to catch them saying a lot of racist things and have such bigoted views. Its just a fact! Its a little different now than it was then for sure.

We need more people like this gentleman to speak out on these issues. Its imperative we break this mindset of victimhood and gov dependency or else we'll continue to regress as a race while others flourish.

When I heard about MLK and the problems happens as a young elementary kid. I didn't understand. I kept saying slavery was 100 years before that and was ended. I couldn't understand why blacks had so much problems. But I grew up in a time where we didn't think of racism in any group I was in. We had all races around and they were just other kids. We were raised against slavery, racism, and any segregation type shit.
What Obama did and then the Democrats is horribly amazing.

Great guest. And a prime example don't judge a person by their profession. In this case plumber. And in my opinion one of the greatest deceptions in American culture. Pushing the careers. We need more skilled laborers and not more "higher educated" humans. Or we will have a bunch of ideas with no product. Which seems to be unfolding currently.

I think I understand now. The reason why God said it’s so important to Love is because when our eyes suddenly are fully open to the full picture we will not be able to fully comprehend or be able to forgive ourselves or others once we see. It comes flooding in… the reality. The full picture. We cannot judge ourselves or others at all or we won’t make it through the emotions. We cannot judge ourselves no matter what happens.
Everyone only has a piece to the full puzzle. Be careful with the way you release this movie and I’m praying for everyone.
