Salāmu alaykum aukhti. I don’t know if you have a hobby but hobbies are really good(halal ones). As a female, there are a lot. Try, diamond Painting for instance; this is a hobby where it’s relaxing and something to wind down after the kids are asleep, it’s like paint by number(not sure if you know this one) but it’s a picture on a canvase and has sticky glue and a colour code where you have little diamond(square or round) and you stick them on with a special pen. You’ll end with a beautiful picture, very shiny. You can give it as a gift or frame them in your house. However, the halal ones would be the ones without live things like a an animal or people, I find ones that are of landscapes or just an art work without the live creation(which obviously we can draw).
Crochet is also interesting. Cross stitching is also nice. You can perhaps get into painting.
In the west it’s difficult for us such as bike riding or scooters because men are usually around but if you can find a secluded space and perhaps bring your husband to be in the look out that would be great.
Diamond painting to be honest is nice and at the end you can frame it and it shines really well like diamonds(but in colour).
      Hope this helps.
      Wa Salam sister

    • @Party_Of_Eight
      @Party_Of_Eight Před 2 lety +3

There are some options to learn the local dialect (amiyyah) with private teachers, but CZcams has many videos that can help with this, and in my opinion you will learn alot just from interacting with the locals and shops etc and living in the environment. I find brothers learn quicker here usually as they are out more. At the beginning I would say the aim is to be able to make it clear what you're trying to say, rather than trying to communicate with them in their local dialect, it's too much otherwise. Most locals understand fusha on a basic level but will not respond in fusha, they may mock at times and make things difficult and act like they don't know what you're speaking about. They mostly, if not always respond in amiyyah. I hope that helps in shaa Allaah.

    salam alekum,
I would like to go to egypt this summer vacation(July and August). I was curious what the possibilities are. I would like to spend 2 months improving my arabic and quraan. i do realize that you will not become fluent in 2 months, but you can learn a lot in 2 months. Which institute can I approach?

As salamu 'alaikum wa rahmat Allahi wa barakatu. I really want to go abroad and seek in knowledge in sha Allah. I want to know if you guys know any good islamic universities in Egypt. I think Al Azhar is an option but if I'm not mistaken I will have to get a proficiency in Classical Arabic (I could be wrong) or something similar to that. I wonder if you guys know any options in which I don't necessarily have to be the most knowledgeable (Sorry I'm kind of in a rush to do this). Also make you guys plz make dua for me that if this is best for me I will go in sha Allah and for all the brothers you who want to proceed in seeking Islamic knowledge. Jazakum Allahu khairan.

Its haraam for women to compliment non mahram men. He is a student of knowledge and he wouldnt appreciate it. So have some shame.
      Praise be to Allah.
      Firstly:
It is permissible for a woman to take part in public chat rooms, if she adheres to the following guidelines:
She should only participate as much as is necessary, so she should pose a question or state the topic, then leave, and not comment unless there is a need for that, because the basic principle is that she should avoid speaking to men or mixing with them.
There should be nothing in her words that could provoke fitnah (temptation), such as joking, speaking softly, or laughing, such as writing “hahahahahaha”, as mentioned in the question, or using smiley emojis, because that could lead to coveting on the part of those in whose hearts is disease, as Allah, may He be glorified, says (interpretation of the meaning): “O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech” [al-Ahzaab 33:32].
She should avoid giving out her email address or corresponding via private messages with any man, even if that is for the purpose of seeking help, because of what such correspondence often leads to of attachment and temptation. See the answers to question no. 34841 .
It is preferable and better for a woman to participate only in all-female chat rooms. This is safer for her. There are many such chat rooms, and that is better and sufficient. But if she needs to participate in public chat rooms, then it is better for her to choose a screen name that does not indicate that she is female.
      And Allah knows best.
