To clear two things up:
1. Yes, you did actually buff that Tstrike Ant. It's very overpowered :D
2. Whenever the Ijiraq is played, it will keep the *temporary* buffs of the card that was used to play it, for some reason. Permanent buffs, like flames, do not count. Only temporary buffs, like the Ant Power, any of the Tentacle Powers, Leader buffs, or even the Annoying sigil on the opposing card. This means that if an Ant of any kind was used to play Ijiraq, it will have +however many were on the board whenever it was played in damage. So, if you play a Worker Ant and nothing else, and it turns into Ijiraq, the Ijiraq will have 5 damage. The reason that happens is because Ants actually have 0 damage in the code, and all of their damage comes from the "Ant Power buff." You can see this is the case in-game by placing down one Worker Ant in front of a skunk, and noticing that its damage is actually black, indicating it was unchanged, instead of the usual green, indicating it was buffed/debuffed.
Hope this cleared some things up! Ijiraq is suuuuper good for the Ant Deck for these reasons, and I'm very glad you happened to get it, even if you didn't realize its full potential :)
(P.S. yes, everyone wanted you to get Ants within Ants. It's the most broken totem combo for the whole deck lol)

About the sigils at the Cave event: I haven't looked into the code, but I think the RNG might be the problem. If the time between the RNG uses is too short, it may be that the same seed is used twice, generating the same sigils. This could either be a problem with the programming of Inscryption, or with the programming language itself, either way there are solutions to fix this if you know what you're doing
40:50 actually i think that if something like this happens i think both creatures receive the buff so the ant and the shapeshifter both got +1 dammage because the first time the shapeshifter was played it had 5 dammage
It had 5 damage because it gets the damage buffs from the creature it changes into. An example of this is one of Sifd's previous vids on which the Ijiraq changed into a bell tentacle and got 8 damage. (4 base + 4 from the bell tentacle buff). So the reason why the Ijiraq had 5 damage was because of the +1 ant damage buff.
@@stkosta2482 To clarify, the Ijiraq doesn't inherit any buffs that were applied to the creature before transformation, but units which interact with unit damage in special ways continue to do so. I think this applies not just to buffs, but also to things like Stinky. The mechanics of what things are and are not inherited seem weird. For example, if one transfers Kraken onto Cockroach, and has an Insect totem, the resulting tentacle card will end up with the sigil from the insect totem but not the Unkillable sigil from the cockroach. Other weird behaviors happen when a Kraken is sacrificed onto a card with Submerged; the Kraken effect won't happen while the card has submerged, but if the target card is a Tadpole the transformation will happen on the turn after the Tadpole transforms into a non-submerged Bullfrog).

Ironically, you can flame ants and gain damage buffs in these scenarios. It’s really weird, but a hilarious trick you can do with the ijiraq. Maybe it works with tentacle cards too?
It does, and it makes me wish that rather than disabling damage buffs for those cards the game had displayed damage suitably. Further, while it might require a rebalance, I really think the effects of Mycologist should be figured better in relation to the stats on Fledgling or computed-damage cards like ants, tentacles, Red Hart, Lammergeier, etc. (so if one fuses two Lammergeiers and adds a +2 damage buff, damage should equal the number of bones plus two. This would require a slight rework to the "damage" graphics to show e.g. 2x🐜+1 or 1½x🦴+3 but I don't think that should be too bad.
I've also done testing with ijaraq, and can confirm you can't do any event with it. But you can draw it with spyglass

I think meal worm sigil on skink would be cool if you damage flame buffed the skink. You could get two sacrifice buffs from a one cost card
I really like how the Amalgam counts as an Ant, but it's pretty lame that it doesn't get +1 damage if you have 3 Ants on the board

How to make really useful the ant queen: give her the Many Lives sigil, when you play it you will be able to play the ant she spawned in one turn
You can also add the rabbit adding sigil for the same effect.

I got inscryption today, i excpected to have some fun but its actualy way better, only thing was that i was playing it on a pc with a bad mouse (not my main pc) and it sometimes doubleclicks so i picked up some nonsense sometimes

@@ferlitten This means you can flame both the ijiraq and the ant at the same time. Flaming two cards you normally wouldn't be able to flame at once.
