I wonder what the fastest landing possible would be, instead in terms of highest airspeed when you catch a wire.
In the highly-realistic F/A-18 Interceptor back in the Amiga days, you could trap at supersonic speeds and still get it stopped before running off the end of the carrier.
0:45 That's because it runs in like 60p (anyone remember those -i resolutions still? Those were awful) due to the 3rd world internet connectios we do have in Yurop! :D

LOL! He made me try one of these too and I was a few seconds longer than him. But our jets would have actually survived to fly again, not so sure about this one.
That was bloody amazing though! WTFG, you win! I'd say "challenge accepted" but considering he's nearly GLOCed all the way around the turn, I don't think it's possible to do much better. At least not unless ED want to make the plane a bit more fragile for me (which wouldn't increase the size of my fan club any. ;)
I'll post the Track playback of my attempt. It's worth watching just for my incredibly sloppy approach that I somehow pulled out of the shitter at the last millisecond.

Yes you can, he’s not even using the teardrop approach, plus gravity is your friend and he didn’t use that either. Approach at 30 deg off deck angle to set up teardrop, come in hot DECK LEVEL over the water or even much better slightly below deck height, when you pull for the Break the key is be slightly climbing when you pass over the deck knife edge between tower and bow not before, that gives you gravity and drag slowing your turn. “Descending” on the break turn gets you nowhere to tighten this first turn.

@@djangodavies8040 I have at this time a Fanatec driving simulator but on x box ,I want to also be able to do flight simulation ,DCS and Microsoft Flight sim ,so I am not 100 percent sure of what I need to build a. New AMD pc ,cpu,gpu,motherboard, etc full system my budget will be around 4000 dollars. I also want to be able to video blog on the internet. I am not interested in over clocking. But want a system I will not have to upgrade every year ,seeing I am 73 . Thank you for your interest in helping me I live in Wisconsin ,I am a disabled Vietnam vet
