“Your Eyes Tell was originally intended for Jungkook’s mixtape but since the Japanese movie producer of the upcoming film called ‘your eyes tell’ itself chose the song to be the ost (after many demos was send), its included in BTS Japanese album”. Jungkook read the screenplay and watch the draft version of the movie and wrote the lyrics.
Your Eyes Tell was the first Japanese movie OST written and produced by foreign artist (Jungkook).
The movie director used the song, not only at the ending but also as an insert song of the movie.
i’m so proud of Jungkook. He didn’t lie when he said lyrics are sad yet beautiful and it will make you cry. And ofcourse Jungkook ‘The Vocal King’ vocals never dissapoints, ever. Its always heavenly with full of emotions the way he start and ended the song and the high notes he is hitting it effortlessly.

In fact, his ex-Vocal Coach, the famous Ms. Kim Sung Eun, in magazine & TV interviews always mentioned Kim Seokjin as her BEST BTS student, one of her "good people," and saying that he has the BEST Technique, after his voice has TRANSFORMED, not just improved, through the serious, hard training he's undertaken! Because of his having no singing experience prior to BTS!

Peggy Malik yes, Jin has improved a huge amount. In their earlier years you could sometimes hear that he’s not a “natural singer” like Jungkook is, but his improvement is amazing.

Mixed voice.. i think he is the one who uses chest and mixed voices for hitting high notes more.. and it is very difficult
tae impresses me the most, being a baritone makes reaching high notes hard, but he did it fluidly. jin is always a good singer. both of them were just not given enough time to showcase it.

Yes it was the live version which was converted into audio. The full album came out on the music sites just a few hours ago and this video was uploaded yesterday when they did pre live performance of this song on the Japanese show. Also yes Jin's vocals always amazes me and his high notes are on point. He has really improved a lot. And Jimin's high notes blew my mind. the whole vocal line did a very great job and not to forget the rapline beautiful soft harmonizing.

It's a shame some think he's straining when compared to others songs he had, he sounds more comfortable here. I do worry for his chords, I just hope BH actually takes care of his voice because they force him to sing way too high for his long term comfort as a singer.

Jin just owns every single Japanese release. I don't know what it is about these songs but it's like they were made for him. If you want to listen to more of those I'd recommend Crystal Snow, Let Go, Don't Leave Me and Lights (sorry, can't remeber if you did videos on any of them atm) Just be careful with reacting to Japanese releases, they often get taken down.

Jin has always excelled, singing ever so beautifully, when it comes to the Japanese songs. His voice seems to be made for them!! Jin has continually improved phenomenally, so astoundingly breathtaking just how much, since awhile now, just shows all the dedication he's put in, as well as with his dancing! He continually blows me away! To me, it really shows how continually, each member, including the rapline, has worked on their vocal abilities & technique! JHope has always had this so beautiful, sincere, at times so tender, so sweet voice, using his lower registry at times, Hobi can really can hit you in your feels! As much as I keep saying wow, they've never sounded as good, but don't I say that everytime I hear something new?!! Haha! But to me Jimin will always be on another level. His ability to go with such ease, never straining, hitting the most beautiful, at times so powerful, so angelic, so heavenly, so clear, highest of high notes not using just falsetto, but head voice, then going back to chest voice, just so spectacularly amazing! Jimin always had the ability as well, to convey all the emotion & feelings the song is trying to convey!! His vocals always go straight to my heart!! No wonder BigHit gave him the title of Lead Vocalist, as well as Main Dancer since BTS debuted!! Haha!!

‘Your Eyes Tell’ was actually composed, written, and produced by Jungkook. According to some Army’s on Twitter, this song was part of Jungkook’s mixtape which was later chosen as the sing for a Japanese Drama OST Song.

I totally agree on how much Jin's vocals have improved! Personally, I liked his and Jimin's vocals the most from this song. Not because V and JK were worse, but how Jin and Jimin become better versions of themselves. I was totally shocked with high notes that Jimin did in mixed voice. To me , Jin and Tae were the shining vocal stars, not that Kookie and Jimin were worse, I just expect those performances from them, so it isn’t surprising. Tae was the big surprise! Jin is the most improved!
