Elgato Races are also about your skill regarding the car build as well, not just driving

@@Imnotreal23 yeah. was mostly joking as half the current FD lineup isnt running v8s lmao. sum bmw engines, a 2jz, and then some modified LS motors. only a couple v8s I believe.
@@Imnotreal23 incorrect. In-line engines make more torque, but any configuration of 3 liters of displacement can’t compete with a 6.2 liter

Just an idea I got when messing around earlier and thought I had to share, I know you had a video where you said it sucks in fh4 but try the raesr tachyon with drift upgrades in FH5, it was interesting to say the least, and it might make a great video and be somewhat surprised

Have you considered making these fixed car and setup? It seems like with a lot of these its the car thats making the biggest difference
thats the main point. these races are meant to be all about car choice, tuning and diving ability, so setting stuff like that would make the people who are good at tuning but not at driving suffer, and vice versa

honestly pure horsepower tends to win in this game i can't think of a single time i've made the cornering car and won an online race, you just don't make up the time with a stock 2-500 hp car that the maniac engine swaps allow.
all depends on the race. certain courses lean harder onto cornering, but the majority are either slightly more focused on speed, or are focused on speed
