The ups and downs of the recovery professional. They seemed like nice people so I am sure they would have done the right thing for you. I remember when working with horses and cattle, you should always wear enclosed shoes, preferably steel caps! We weren't even allowed into the paddocks without them. It also meant we didn't get fresh poo on our feet LOL. The new toy looks like fun. The only downside at travelling at speed is that you miss so much of the scenery. Cheers mate.
You won't believe this Michael, but a month ago I found an identical bracelet on a beach in Canada on the sandy shore of Lake Erie. I thought it was cheap gold plated junk! Mine may be a copy, but it is exactly the same. I didn't need my detector, it was poking out of the sand glinting in the sun.

If I had put in a 4 hour round trip for a bracelet that had been found the day before and they didn't have the courtesy to cancel the hunt, I'm afraid one of those people would be icing down a lump on their noggin from a horseshoe that accidentally flew from my hand! (Just joking, maybe!) Great video as always.
Did you at least get compensation for your time and extensive travel? I'm not sure if I'd be frustrated or what here. 🤷 I'll leave it at that about that past of the video 👍

Perhaps the metal detector didn't pick up the pendant because it isn't gold or iron. Aren't there some metals that don't set it off?

On the stud farm video, I don't know if I would have been as laid back as you about driving all that way, looking for 2 hours and then finding out somebody had already found it! I'm sure you were respected by the bracelet owner...I'm sure your wife had something to do with this.. stud fees can be bloody expensive... for a body like yours l'd pay $5 bucks.. hope you picked up some eggs, fresh milk and a load of manure while you were out there getting lost.
