Art doll DIY kits sound amazing! I'd imagine that you would wanna start with more basic animals, but the possibilities are endless! I think the only thing that could be hard to nail would be an instruction manual... Anyways, keep on trucking Kaypea, I have much hope in the DIY kit stuff, and thanks for reading!

If she made them "basic," they wouldn't be so enchanting. I'm decades older than most of you and get tired of all the uninspired drivel on The Tube with no-talents trying to copy the talented (worse yet, calling themselves "instructors.") This girl is Good. Good things should take time, not five minutes on a sewing machine. I was very glad to see something so unique on here for once. Her web site also proves she's exceptional with her time and detail work.
@@lucygray6162 You have to learn to crawl before you walk. You have to start with something “basic” and build up to harder stuff. When I learned to see my grandma started me with a simple square pillow. I was seeing to pieces of fabric together and stuffing them and I still messed up. Eventually I got the hang of it and worked my way all the way up to making large quilts, just like her. Starting from the basics isn’t a bad thing, it’s a starting place.
I can already imagine the horror of adding the fur!
Yes please make baby bat kits!! I need a place to start! As you say, just do it, get started, do something, anything!! A kit would be the best start point for us newbies!

Yes! Totally interested in diy kits! I am no sculptor but can sew just fine and would love to try making my own some day. Even just having the option to purchase faces/heads and feet of creatures would be amazing! Also, my kids love watching these videos with me. "Kaypea has another video, mom!"
The sound of you crunching the supports to take them off the 3d print extended my life by like 5 years.
I love them so much! and honestly the kits sound like a good idea for people who want to start but can't justify buying all the materials to do so because most of the time you buy way more than you need just because that's how products are sold and also some people don't have access to 3D printing
She could manufacture the heads to be sold with the kits. Still a great deal of time and detail, but isn't that what we're intrigued with?

Art doll kits is such an awesome idea!! I’ve toyed with the thought of making them but would never really commit because of the learning curve of a whole new art form (and the investment!) but I would LOVE a one-off kit so much!
