As of this moment, the Federal government has done squat. All recovery efforts have been provided, locally. No beds no water no food no assistance no naval no army no nothing from the government. Embarrassing and sad.

That’s just a lie, FEMA was deployed who had provided 50,000 meals, 75000 litres of water, 5000 cots, 10000 blankets and provided transitional sheltering assistance program to help those displaced along with that $700 to eligible people to pay for food, water and other supplies. The navy, US coast guard, army corps, and black hawk helicopters were all dispatched on the first week. they provided disaster relief funds as quickly as they could which by the way, trumps administration wouldn’t have been able to do on time considering that Trump had set up strict regulations and restrictions that would’ve delayed any federal funding from reaching those places, restrictions and regulations that Biden had removed.

It’s not the amount that’s an issue. 700$ means a lot and again it’s something when these people lost everything. It’s the process in which they have to go through to get this money. Another thing that Biden did was comparing a situation that happened at his home that was controlled in less than 20 minutes to what these people are going through. He was also on vacation and had to cut it short to make his appearance after all the criticism he received. 40% of his presidency has been on vacation and you really want anyone to believe this is all he, our government, & FEMA can offer to these people. 8.3 million that has gone to Hawaii compared to the 12.1 billion given to Ukraine. Really sets the tone for what we expect from our country.

That's awful! I saw a video of a family stopping their car and picking up an elderly couple, took them out of there. They wouldn't have ever made it out and I think the family let the couple stay with them too. We have to look out for each other now more than ever
