Some football boots are memorable, some go down as all-time great, but only a select few can be considered legendary! The Predator Mania is one of those boots. We've had quite a few remakes of the Mania over the last 5 years, but the latest one from Adidas is easily the best one yet!

I wish Adidas would just keep this style pred as part of there permanent lineup like they do with the copa mundial.

Jonathan Rodriguez, now that they’ve got the tooling correct, as long as they keep producing them they should be able to reduce the price eventually. But if they’re just going to do limited runs the price probably won’t change all that much as they’ll need to be expensive to pay the tooling cost.
TLDR:
The more they make, the more affordable they could be.

Ah man, I feel old. I was 23 when these were released. I had a chance to buy these during the World Cup and passed on it. I did, however, but two set sets of the red version. The FG (TRX traxion) version weighed in at about 10.5oz. I still have both of mine.👍 those were fantastic boots and if were to guess, I probably logged about 400 miles of game time in them. They were/are fantastic. Nothing I’ve worn since them has been close to being that good.
This boot is incredible. Love when they stay true to the OG but agree with Josh, in this case the red heel counter makes it look better than the OG. I get that the box is similar too, but at this price pt I hoped it might be more inline w/ the Pred20+. Expected a couple lace options as past remakes (Becks Precision, red mania) had, but the product is so good who cares. Excited to get them on the pitch, especially if they're even better than the reds.

Josh, the oldschool boots sole plates are what make them so heavy. Those plastics are heeeavvyyyy
I think back then it was eurosport, and they sold them in the us. It was strange to see the blue elastic because it hadn't become super common yet to have elastic on the tongue.
Ahah, never realized the foam inserts were an adidas logo, now I can't look at it without noticing it. 2002 was indeed a special year for football, everything from the adidas fevernova to the total 90 ii from nike!
I had to go half a size down because that is the only one in stock, so hopefully this will stretch a bit being its a full leather upper....
I remember that Italy game in that World Cup, yea about that...
I just found and bought a BNWT pair last month, wore it once and then some of the rubber fin stripes started to fall down after the game.. i don't know its just mine or anyone else experience it the same too, but it's so dissapointing for such a beauty and expensive pair 😢

That's how Beckham used to wear them. Like I said in the video, that's not how I would personally wear them, but it does look good that way!

Can you notice any difference between the red one and blue one during play? I love how the red one work so much
The upper is pretty well the same, but I think the fit of the blue ones and the feel of the soleplate is quite a bit better. At least I prefer it.

Hey Josh, what would you prefer wearing? The mizuno rebula 3 mij or these new manias? Any other leather boot you would prefer over these?
I'd personally wear these over just about anything right now. That's not to say they're the best though, because I definitely think that the MIJ Rebula 3 is an objectively better boot, I just love the feel of the Mania.

You think that they will continue to make the old school predators in the coming years, because for me (other than the copa’s) they were the best boots hands down growing up, heard you say in your video with the cat from Unisport that there isn’t many more directions that they could go with remakes of the press... only reason I ask is that I had the opportunity to buy a second pair of these, but decided against it and I’ll be pretty gutted if these will be the last they decide to make as it looks like they are sold out in “normal sizes” everywhere.... let us know what you think/know
I'm guessing that these will be the last Mania remakes for a while. They've pretty much run through almost all of the colorways. They definitely could do more though. The demand definitely seems to be there.

Yo Josh, what do you think are the best synthetic shoes out right now?? I loved the vapor 11’s and even the 12 pros but unfortunately flyknit has taken over.
Right now, I think knitted is the way to go, Vapor 13 Elite being the one I would go for. Unfortunately, there really isn't a synthetic boot along the lines of the Vapor 11 that I would put anywhere near the same level.

Nice but bring back the blades too. Adidas doesnt realize that customers for these types of O.G. remake products WANT THE EXACT SAME THING... bad bits and everything. If we wanted the lightest and fastest we would buy the latest style. Read the bold print again.
