Conrad Hawkins is one of Chastain Park Memorial Hospital's best doctors. The story is getting interesting. When they both discussed being âconfusedâ that was them acknowledging there feeling arenât just simple friendship. But once he said he was happy with Cade, Billie backed off and said she is no longer confused. Conrad wants her to be happy but he isnât going to enjoy seeing her dating the new doctor. Heâs had her to himself for 5yrs. I think heâs going to struggle with her moving on a lot more than he expected. Also it seem like everyone at the hospital including Cade sees that there is potential for more between them. Conrad & Cade wonât last.

Every scene between Conrad and Billie is ethereal and so warm
Conrad is playing it safe. The loss of Nic was profound for him. Dating Cade is safe. He cares about her but his feelings will only go so far with her. With Billie, on the other hand, she brings out very strong feelings from him and that can be scary, so heâs trying to keep those feelings at bay. Cade doesnât bring out those strong emotions and thatâs probably all he can handle right now. So we see the resistance and him trying to use her being Nicâs bf as a barrier to exploring those feelings

This! He is in love with Billie but cannot admit it/refuses to see it. Again, it all goes back to Nic. He lost the love of his life and that loss has shaped the man he is today. In season 5, he talks about how everything goes back to Nic and he doesn't know if he is capable of facing that kind of loss again. And so he protects his heart by not risking it by avoiding anything that makes his feel too much. I mean, he basically described his relationship with Cade as "having fun" to AJ and every time someone confronts him about Billie- his response is never actually a denial, it is always more of a deflection. Lol. Billie gave him an opening here but because he said he was happy(with his eyes looking tearful btw) she is going to respect that and move on. He is trapped by his own fear but when he sees her moving on, it will probably spur action. This whole situation is unfair to Cade(who is lovely) and to Billie. I hope the new doctor gives him a run for his money.
I called the Conrad jealous part weeks ago. Although, if it could pick up the pace that would be great lol
That dance was more than a dance for both of them. Iâm glad Billie respects his relationship with Caid and clearly Conrad wants to do right by Caid as well but thereâs something there with Billie for him. I think weâll see Conrad get visibly jealous of this new doctor and eventually itâll be hard for Caid not to notice. Theyâll drag it out but eventually something will happen and the tension between Conrad and Billie will have a release.
Conrad is in denial he has feelings for Billie but keep telling himself that she is nick best friend.
Haven't watched the ep yet, but I'm so glad they didn't make Billie a boyfriend stealer. She has much more dignity than that.

I don't know why but I was not liking Conrad's demeanor or overall dare I say attitude towards Billie in this episode he's whole undertone of it all bothered me, it feels like he's frustrated with her when it's clear that he's not sure what he's feeling or maybe he knows what he feels and instead of owning it he's trying to deflect or repress it, it's not Billie's fault that he won't step up, she's the one thus far being respectful and stepping aside which is hard to watch. Either way they are going to make us wait until the season finale to know if and when this tringle will finally end, oh brother

I honestly don't think Conrad has feelings for Billie. I think he sees her as a good friend. Those feelings of confusion are the fact of having them dance so close like that which they've never done. Just a weird feeling. And everyone in the hospital shipping them together when he didn't consider them a possibility. When he told Billie he wanted her to be happy, I don't think he meant with him. That he may not feel that way for her and feels bad because he wants her happy. She needs to let Conrad be happy with Cade.
She's not stopping him doing anything. And I think the story is 100% going in Conrad and Billie having a future together.
