The second series of the manga (this movie was adapted from the first series) actually told us what happened to kids that skipped school. They were being picked up by weird statues, and they would be killed if they refused. If they accepted, they would be taken to a certain place and were forced to play a series of more brutal games. so there is no way out

To everyone saying this is more merciful than Squid Game, keep in mind that these people were forced into games that would inevitably lead to most of their deaths, especially since only 7 people could make it to the final game although multiple schools were subjected to these games and even fewer would die thanks to bad luck.
Now in Squid Game, you aren't forced to play. You choose to do so on your own will. Some may argue that the contestants were tricked into playing deadly games and that is true, but they all had the option to vote and opt out of the games (which they did) only for every single contestant to return. Despite a couple hundred dying, all the others had their chance despite being in a financial crisis.
TL;DR You aren't forced into Squid Game but you are forced into the deadly games in this movie.
Also, I am pretty sure they very quickly realize and are told the rules of what they are doing in squid game. Whereas in this one they are just randomly thrown into games with completely unfair and ridiculous rules that makes no sense.
It isn't necessarily your will when you have to hope the majority vote your way
They gave their consent to join the game in the first place in squid game, and they were given the choice to stop it as well.
People in this movie are forced without them even knowing wtf is happening, and the organizers arent even clear on their rules.

For those saying the doll at the end meant that no one had to die at all through the games, it meant only the "kick the can". Obviously, everyone apart from one was meant to die to the daruma doll. In all the other games however it may be possible, but EXTREMELY difficult, for everyone to survive. And maybe they could survive the ice cream thing if they didn't choose one (but then the dolls might have threatened to kill all of them if they didn't choose).
If everyone, including the bully, worked together and figured everything out quick enough (switching between being a mouse and a student just in time to avoid death, as they go for the mice first).
If they figured out right away that it was the polar bear lying and not them. If one of the other students in the room spoke beforehand and coughed a certain number of times depending on who was standing behind them in the "Kagame" game.
And it doesn't necessarily say that only 7 people can live after this, just that you need a minimum of 7. So as long as the bully doesn't kill anyone, everyone should be able to move onto the kick the bucket.

ATGW is definitely worse in my opinion because no one was given a choice. Also, They are in a small classroom and don’t have a lot of space. Remember, when their heads explodes, it’s supposed to make the surviving students trip and fall. And this is only the first game.
The craziest part is that the doll said that no one was supposed to die, indicating that there was a way for everyone to live up until the ice cream part.

@@shimpiyaa Well, those who attended the school were as unlucky. In the manga of this film aka KAMISAMA NO LUTOORI, the students/people who hadn’t attend were also forced to play since even though if they refused to play, they will instantly face execution.
The doll is full of it. There is literally no way for all of them to live considering only 7 players can enter into the 2nd to last game.

The Daruma game seems similar to red light green light, which can only have one winner. Basketball is a team game, but only the 3 surviving players had been acting as a team, the 2 made the plan, and the 3 executed it. The limitations to the winners make sense in context of the games.

This movie is based on a manga of the same name. Overall, it's a fun read. Ofcourse here the games are scarier and more brutal, since they're made by literal Gods.

Parsley is okay, maybe not eating them as is and raw like its cucumber, but they are nice when you add them in food, evident how many food uses them. Chinese parsley also known as coriander on the other hand isn't, they are rarely used other than for garnish, even in chinese food.
So your sister liking coriander and likes eating it raw daily is even more rare than someone liking parsley.
The problem with the polar bear game was that the bear was lying, therefore even though everyone else was telling the truth, he made the players turn on eachother.
