Hey Punk. Thanks for sorting out those ammo cans for me. I just did a Live putting a friend’s Vamp together and that ammo cans mount was absolutely no help at all for making me enjoy the experience. But at least you’ve helped me return the Vamp to the guy properly understood. And it’s the grid iron stock that is making me hate waiting for more Vamp orders to be available from Hasbro. Amazing stuff.
“Ammo chute” was real close. It’s called a “Flex chute “ and is a type of “Feed Chute system” . The issue is , there is an entire link ejection system that requires a “hard chute” system to expel them and prevent them from them from jamming up the guns action.
Excellent video and review of the Gridiron additions. I have two vamps, one I’m going to keep stock, the other will be kitted out with the Gridiron additions.

The two cylinders on the side of the Miniguns are the Motors that Spin the barrels! In real life a M134 Mini-Gun has One Motor but to make the 3D printer must have changed the design to make it look meaner! The M134 is ONE MEAN Mother I was qualified to use on both a Helo and Patrol boat while I was in the Navy after Sept 11, 2001.
I definitely have to pick the setup. I dig decking it out in all that gear lol. thanks for the close look at it brother
Hey Punk/ Lawrence, I like the way you do “exploratory” item review videos like this one. Two things to note. The dual mini guns that you’re using, though work with the roll cage, but are not designed for it. Gridiron has recently introduced, and I think will continue to have more gun mount options, specifically designed to work with the roll cage and VAMP.
Secondly, I don’t think you mentioned what those other clips are for- they are to attach a Gridiron backpack to the roll cage.

Yeah this is what was given to me so I gave it a try, it’s cool but you can tell it’s not fully meant for it. I did mention the backpack hook, but didn’t have a backpack to show with it.

Hey man, I’m the same way about the Vamp, I’m keeping 1 “stock” and then going to get this roll cage and maybe another add on from Gridiron to do some modifications on my 2nd open Vamp. Good review!

They are, but if you feel they will enhance the toy and your fun with it, they are worth it.

I think I spent more money buying all the Phases, backpacks and guns to mount from Gridiron on the VAMP than the actual VAMP itself, the door gunner should be coming this week, I cannot wait. Right now I have the GAU-19 w/shield to replace the twin .50 cal. Not sure how I want to set up my second VAMP but since I got everything I have multiple options

Isn‘t that dual minigun mount for the MPAC drone? They recently released three minigun mounts with shield, and vertical oscillation.
I think so. This is all my buddies stuff and he gave it to me to review, so I used it to see how it goes on.
