The prices have increased for the locals but for foreigners it's almost the same as before. Because the Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated.

respected equally ( i found all major religious festival ( x'mas singala tamel new year, muslem ramedan is paid public holiday for every citizen, 4 weather condition in different part of the Island same day beach life /wild life all in one package, more beauty is the people of all community is humble nice living for centuries

Negombo is not that touristy usually, it's not considered as a tourist hotspot like Ella, Mirissa, Galle etc. Before the crisis we had a large portion of chicken kottu around Rs.500 - 700 but now the prices are more than doubled ⬆️
What your talking bro.. Tourist they like negombo of whatever the reason.. There are so many hotels Five jetwings Earl regent hilton building there new hotel.. And dammika Perera building the biggest hotel in sri lanka bigger than Colombo shangrilla

Beautiful family! Not to complain or anything, but I don't think you have to specifically look for Muslim communities. I can assure you, any other community in Sri Lanka will make you feel welcome and help you as much. All Sri Lankans as a whole, take pride in their hospitality. They feel ashamed if they don't treat a guest with respect. Also, there are many non-Muslim food places that serve Halal food.

I understand what you feel, sorry about that , Your country Sri lanka is one of the best multi cultural i ever visited after i visited so many country in the world, and the only country i find equality (every religion festival is paid public holiday to every citizen you don't find this in UK respect for women this is unbelievable
these guys must focus on beauty not food price they should understand that even in UK people depend on charity food inflation is effecting the globe
If i have comment only one thing places like perdaneya, sigiriya and others they should not charge tourist different rates it gives a physiological effect, (it's ok with me) to attract more tourist which will create more jobs to locals plus
if a tourist save that charge they are going to spend it any how
mouth to mouth advertisement is better than promoting paid advertisment,
I will be coming again pretty soon it's so safe family compering some other country
