David PINGREE's KTM snaps in two on a triple, a 16 year old James STEWART is extremely fast, but making mistakes in his rookie year, although he dishes it out at well as taking it (Watch him & Broc SELLARDS getting together in their heat/semi). Travis PRESTON is solid & keeps STEWART on his toes.

Apparently Pingree cased the same jump 2 laps in a row, the 2nd time his KTM snapped. Not a good advert for KTM back then.

I think so, he always used to do the early ones before the GP season started. Also I know he broke his back & ankles at a supercross in January 2003, which ruined his '03 GP year.
