Even before that boulder hit him upside the head. Goofy was the smartest of the pints. Look at Goofy in The Land of Dragons earlier in KH2

I like how Roxas is so big a deal, that both Ansem and Xemnas (Xehanort’s literal 2 HALVES) both were sent after him
I like to believe Ansem and Xemnas rehearsed what they were going to tell Sora, especially the "Now, set your heart free" at 2:23.
That would be funny there at the Organization XIII throne room and their practicing their lines.

Perfect choice of music for them to fight the nobodies and heartless, night of fate is iconic and hits the KH1 vibes right in the feels.

Xemnas definitely has the more bad ass hair style...he is a perfect example of Nobody's aging. He looks 10 years older than Terrahort while being an apprentice. ALL member of the organization look like they grew 10 years for sure during their being Nobodies. Look at Ienzo, Lea, Isa, Ansem/Xehanort, Braig, Dilan, Even, and Aelius. They ALL look like they aged 10 years while they were nobodies. Ienzo is likely in his early 20's now (being a kid like age 12 or something before becoming a nobody). Because of the graphics it's impossible to say with Lauriam and Elrena, and the fact they're "different" and they're time displaced as it is (just as Ventus is...I guess?).
I've been thinking for so many years, that Ansem and Xemnas were brought back thanks to Young Xehanort's time travel shenanigans. But all this time since DDD their hearts were just put into the bodies of replicas. Good job Nomura.

Well it’s a first rule of time travel: you have to be just a heart so...
I’ll fully explain
Xemnas and Ansem no longer exist in the present, they were destroyed. Doing so revived Master Xehenort and Terra’s body.
Many of the other members of the True Organization also don’t exist in the present.
Young Xehanort can time travel to any era where a version of him exists, but he himself can’t interfere in history, in part because he’s a heart and spirit without a body
That’s why Replicas are needed, they provide a body for Young Xehanort and the other Organization Members need to exist in the present and be able to fight and interact
The reason why they were all there in DDD, is because they were in the Sleeping Worlds which exist outside time. They incept Sora’s Dream in order to be there all at once, to try turn Sora as their 13th Member
When that failed they all had to return to their present eras.
So afterward Master Xehanort, Saïx, Xigbar, and all the other Nobody Members, later Terranort were the only ones that exist in the present.
Using Replica bodies provided by Vexen, Young Xehanort can summon himself and the other past members to exist in the present
So time travel and Replicas together make it all possible
Its how Xemnas, Ansem, Xion, Roxas, Naminé can all coexist with their other selves
@James JN a Heartless is made from the darkness and heart of a person. The darkness becomes a monster that entraps a victim’s heart around it.
They’re stripped of their body and soul, which sometimes is used to create a Nobody.
Heartless usually lack will and feeling because they are stripped of their soul, which is regard as the mind.
Ansem is an exception as he’s a the Heartless of a Keyblade Wielder that willingly gave up his heart. His strong heart and act of free will, allowed his heartless to retain will and feelings, as if he gained a soul or mind of his own
These two chilling together was amazing.

I never got passed the 2nd game. But i thought it was sad as hell when Roxas found out the truth about him and Sora. I didn't get to see Roxas meet sora. Seeing that sora values Roxas is pretty cool to see.

I feel like I failed. In KH1 and KH2 I had one job. Take these two out. But here they are. Both of them. What was the point!? All that button mashing for nothing!

In KH 1, Ansem used Maleficent and the other Disney Villians to bred Heartless, consume worlds, and gather the Princesses of Heart to summon the Final Keyhole, as an alternate way to reach Kingdom Hearts and attempt to control it
But Sora stopped it and saved all the worlds taken by the Heartlees, and Ansem was defeated ceding Riku’s body he was possessing back to Riku
In KH 2 Xemnas used Roxas, Xion, and Sora to gather Hearts from slain Heartless
Instead of the victims turning back into people they’re forcibly gathered together to become an artificial Kingdom Hearts, which Xemnas both wanted to use it to turn the original members of Organization XIII into vessels of Xehanort or at least use it to rewrite reality as he wanted it
But Sora thwarted that too, and defeated him
Xemnas and Ansem were destroyed allowing Terra and Master Xehanort to return
But Xehanort had one back up plan after another for just in case
He had Young Xehanort to time travel and gather versions of himself or those with ties to Xehanort and summon them to the present to occupy Replica Vessels to exist in the present and become part of Master Xehanort’s True Organization XIII
It’s why Xemnas and Ansem exist right now they were summoned from the past to occupy Replicas to exist in the present
But they’re no longer the leaders they once were, they’re now vessels of their original Incarnation Master Xehanort, meant to be sacrificed as fodder in his Keyblade War so his heart fragments can become ingredients to recreate the true x-blade.
So cheer up, you as Sora stopped Ansem’s plan to consume the world with darkness, and stopped Xemnas’ plan from becoming a god and rewrite reality
Now you’ll face them again as Master Xehanort’s flunkies

He has Terranort's body and Ansem has his heart. The body simply aged.

@@borbende Wrong. They're both the two halfs of Terranorts body. Why one is taller than the other....idk the guardian weighs him down or something
@@mr.awesome6011 That is only half true. Yes, Ansem resembles Terra because of the original body of Terranort. But he also has Riku's characteristics (hair and such) because he possessed him and then made his new body. So technically it is not exactly the same as Terra's body and, because it was created about eight-nine years after the separation of Xemnas and Ansem, it did not age because it took on the characteristics of the original.

Ansem the Darkness and Xemnas are quite duo to compare dark version of Dong Zhuo and Yuan Shao(Richard Epcar and Paul St Peter) as Eunuchs' Destroyers.
How do the dark corridors actually work? Demyx shows up in Ienzo's lab and says,'Finally, about time...' Ever since I've wondered how the corridors function.
Remember the location where Axel died in KH2? Like that probably.

This game has me getting feels and I don't even know what is going on in here.
Sora: spends 2 hours of the game looking for a way to bring roxas back.
Also Sora: Drops him like a newborn calf to go have some Didney worl fun.
Sora was busy trying to unlock the power of waking. Ienzo was helping him figure out Roxas' situation and they called each other between worlds to discuss it.

And it never made sense to me that sora needed to go to other worlds to unlock the power of waking, as there was nothing significant in those worlds to even warrant its usage, sora doesn't even mention the power of waking through like 6 Disney Worlds.
@HOTSHOCK id just figure being around or training under keyblade masters, like Riku, YenSid, Mickey or Aqua would be the most effective method of training, over going to random Disney Worlds.
@HOTSHOCK I highly doubt sora was too weak to go to the dark realm with Riku and Mickey to search for aqua, yet strong enough to go take on the organization in the disney worlds by himself.
It doesn't matter who would or wouldn't be a good teacher any keyblade weilder or someone relatively familiar with the powers of the heart is better than random disney characters.
Meanwhile a mere (what few days?) Sora had to be summoned just to help Riku and Mickey take down Aqua in the dark realm anyway, am I supposed to believe he became *that* much stronger in just a few days? The plan was outright ridiculous and contrived if you asked me.
There wasnt a single relevant reason for sora to visit these worlds instead of saving his friends, other than thats what the game needed him to do for it to be a Kingdom Hearts game.
I do agree it was always going to be Ventus who helped Sora unlock the power of waking. But it wouldve been nice to see Sora avidly try to understand what that meant not just wildly go around and then magically master it in the blink of an eye.

correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the first time since defeating Ansem back in Kingdom Hearts 1 that Sora met him again,
Dream Drop Distance. Although technically Sora was asleep during that cutscene where Master Xehanort returned and had Ansem and Xemnas at his side. But Riku encountered and fought him before and during that scene.

You can try and break there brotherhood friendship Xemnas and fake Ansem but you always fail forever because Sora, Donald and Goofy are best buddy friends and honour brothers in heart that’s how they beaten you both in there last 2 worlds journeys early because they kept growing stronger everyday with there All for one and One for All unity power of kindness and light all that’s what warrior heroes do all the way completely because honour and nobility with kindness with always be successful indeed right KH fans if you get what, I mean right fellow heroes fans!

What Ansem and Xemnas are proposing, that Sora give up himself to darkness in order to bring Roxas back, is pretty much the same thing Master Xehanort seeks to do to the entire World. Snuff out the "extra" lights of people to create an empty world for the lost light called Kingdom Hearts to shine upon.

@@Chaos-vm7cy well theres people saying how xeha and the crew threated sora and his friends like disciples thats why they didn't go all out on them. but i say tht because look at how you can fight all 3 and still winning, you're basically beating the hooded secret bosses from birth by sleep and kh 1 and winnig like can you imagine that? also a guy with a master plan and long years of waiting plus gaining knowledge and doing calculated moves got beaten by a kid even when the same guy defeated more experienced fighters with less prep time. also made them look weak emotionally and mentally (especially xenmas who's my favorite)
