The most iconic part in this song will forever be jaemins ice cream . I still remember 2 years ago when they were performing in music bank , this ice cream part was the reason I fell in love with jaemin and got to know about nct . So jaemins ice cream always hav a special place in my heart
This is Jaemin's legendary era along with MAW and Ridin', he does both the intro and outro for this song and his "ice cream~" part at the end of his rap became THAT iconic part, everybody who saw it tried doing it perfectly at least once. So we jokingly said "mark need to learn the dance cause he has to dance to it later lol" and it happening now hahahaha.

@@Stella09 hey! Mark is the leader of nct dream, it's just that he was in another band called SuperM at the time boom, riding and 119 came out. so here he learned the choreo of boom, and in another video he learned the choreo of riding so he can perform with them ♥️

@@Stella09 basically Dream has this graduation system in place, back then. Once you hit 20 (intl age 19) you'll graduate. Mark graduate in 2018, so in 2019 and 2020, which is during Boom and Ridin, Mark was not presence, simply because he already graduates and no longer apart of Dream.
So in 2020, the 00 line ( Haechan, Jaemin, Jeno, Renjun) supposed to already graduate. But SM still do not decide what unit Renjun, Jeno, and Jaemin should be in. Haechan already in 127.
Fans petitioned to SM to demolish the graduation system, bc if the 4 members graduate, Dream only left with Chenle and Jisung only, and it will be crazy to add 4/5 new members to replace the graduated members. For once, SM actually listen to fans, one of the reason is bc Dream actually has good public recognition and steady fandom with good album sales. So in 2020 SM announced that Dream will be fixed unit, and Mark return to dream, so we have 7dream again.
But Dream has this rotation system like NCT U where if Dream has comeback , there might be 7, or 6 or 5 etc members (sucks but Haechan and Mark needs to be in 127 too) and the other members will have chance to be in other units too aside from Dream, so Hotsauce is the first time they comeback as 7 dream, after 2 years and Mark gotta learn Boom and Ridin, and they redistributed the line to share to Mark.

If you think about it, Dream are in a way the most experienced unit at being flexible and adjusting their lines and choreo for different members.
After Jaemin came back from injury hiatus he needed to work into First and Last and We Young choreo/lines.
After Mark graduated, they redid everything again to perform with six on all their songs.
They worked Mark in again for Boom and Ridin and also Dream performs their tracks as 5 sometimes when Mark and Haechan are busy with 127. The boys are so adaptable and they can all do everything and I really really admire their perseverance and flexibility. Such pros!
